“Great socks but you are borderline harassment! I have had 1-2 emails A DAY from you and finally unsubscribed and now another email asking for this review. You need to STOP. Subscribing does not mean daily multiple emails, you have put me off buying from you ever again sorry.”

“I live in the EU and an unexpected import duty of €13.72 on an order of €22 is unjustified. Socktopus should make it clear to their customers in the EU that there IS an import duty to be paid on collection, not that "import duties and taxes may occur on EU orders" as they state buried deep in their FAQs.”

“The socks are very nice but too expensive ! I bought 2 pairs of socks with the shipping for 30 € and I had to pay 14 € for taxes (I'm living in France) ! Finally my purchase has cost 45 € !!! totally crazy !!! What a pity your stupid brexit !!!”

“Your socks are wonderful and I love them since I had visited your shop in Edinburgh one year ago! The shipping was as expected and the socks arrived one week later in Germany. Everything fine except one thing: when I got the parcel the parcel deliverer told me, I had to pay 84€ for it. The total amount of my order was around 246€ including shipping which I had paid before and which was ok for me. What I did not know and also did not expect was that I had to pay 1/3 of my order additionally for duty and a service charge for the delivery company. Some other websites inform you about such additional costs before confirming the order. This is really annoying. If I had known this before I wouldn't have ordered or changed my order. Unfortunatelly the most expensive socks I have ever bought...”

“Not very happy :( I have been waiting for my package to arrive for a long period of time now. The package was supposed to arrive on friday however, it did not because the driver did not make it on time. I get a message each time that it will arrive soon but there is no new date communicated through the platform. Overall it has been a bit confusing. I also had to pay a fee which was not communicated before hand, however I can understand that the company was maybe not aware of this extra delivery fee.”
