“I recently purchased the Solotica Prescription yearly Eye Contact Lenses (hidrocor- Agata) and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. After wearing them for two weeks, I've consistently experienced irritation in my eyes, and it's alarming that I can't see as clearly as I should with my prescription. The visual clarity falls short of my expectations!
Despite the hype from some YouTubers, these lenses are far from comfortable as they claim. My research led me to believe that the positive reviews might be misleading, as my firsthand experience contradicts these glowing recommendations. It's disheartening to feel misled by the online endorsements! Will never buy'em again. Contacted customer support at solitica and expressed how dissatisfied I am.
I've had a positive experience with contact lenses from my local store here in Melbourne, which are three months in duration. They not only provide better comfort but also adhere to my prescription accurately. So solitica 0 star from me!”

I even bought a cheaper brand and they were more comfortable. Thus far my Optic contacts are so comfortable. I paid almost $100 dollars for these and it may have been a waste of my money.”

“The shipping was very fast and I was impressed with that. I thought it was a problem with my, in particular, eyes that I experienced burning and dryness and could only wear them for an hour or two, until I read these other reviews. Also, my eye would get scratched when I pulled them out and my vision would get blurry. They're supposed to last 3 months, but I've only worn mine around 3 weeks and one must have ripped as it was really scratching my eye today. I don't have any back-up lenses, so had to spend another $100 (that I don't have) and order my regular ones. My eye is still really irritated 8 hours later. I am really disappointed in the quality. All the review videos emphasized how comfortable they were. Sure, if you like the feeling of something like aluminum foil in your eyes. I so wanted to love these since my Freshlook Green were discontinued. I didn't mind the color...it is the quality that's the problem. I don't think your eyes can get much oxygen wearing these. “I wish I read reviews before I ordered because Soliticas are such an investment piece, but I trusted this brand because I have ordered them since 2013 and they were still very expensive. I stopped purchasing them when I found cheaper options and contact lenses that weren't as thick as Solotica was back then. After trying the cheaper brands for years, I began to miss how realistic and beautiful Soloticas hydrocor and naturals line ways. I finally decided to splurge and try them again, certain that they certainly improved in the last decade. Unfortunately, they didn't improve anywhere expect the thickness. The lenses are now very thin and the Hidrocors were even comforable. And like I always remembered they didn't dry my eyes out. Upon inspecting the color and detail of both the ocre naturals and agata hidrocor I immediately noticed how identical these lenses were to the cheap brands I have been using for the last 6 years. They are literally designed the same and feel the same except I paid 3x the price. These are not to the high quality, beauty, or realism I came to know from Solotica. The natural lenses are so uncomfortable on top that. Of course, we cannot get a refund on worn lenses, so I am out of a lot of money now with 2 pairs of lenses I do not want to go near ever again. I still have someone of my old cheaper and better ttdeye lenses that haven't expired yet, so I will be going back to those.”

“I reached out for assistance due to not being able to see out of the contacts. Solotica contacts gave me extreme migraines and made me feel dizzy. The contacts once put on, was like put layers of tape around my eyes. I immediately had to get them out because it felt like my head was about to explode.
Customer service is nonexistent and will not do anything to resolve your issues. I opened only one pair to try them on. How can you try on the contacts with power if they aren’t open. They said you can’t return them now because one is opened. I have been talking in circles to someone randomly at this point because I have not received any actual assistance. I was just told to go to the eye doctor to get my eyes checked and they’ll give me a discount on my next order. If I could afford to do that then I wouldn’t have purchased anything from them to begin with. The exam costs way more than the contacts and I don’t have medical insurance. This was a cheap purchase and I should’ve known this would be an extremely poor quality experience and product.

“Y’all, be very careful with this company! I ordered the Nononha blue. The color was nice, but they didn’t fit my eye at all— there was a big, lopsided chunk of brown showing through on one side of each of my irises. It looked like I had some kind of eye disease! I asked for a refund, and despite sending them half a dozen images of the issue, they refused. AWFUL customer service. Once you open the product, they will not issue a refund under any circumstances— even if they’ve given you a bad product. I ended up having to dispute the change with my bank. DO NOT trust this company with your business!!”

“I was excited to get my contacts because the ones I had been wearing for many years (Freshlook colors) discontinued their colored lenses. I ordered blue, which is what I have always worn. They arrived nicely packaged, but within a couple of hours of inserting them, they became very uncomfortable and my eyes were burning. Fortunately, I brought a case and some solution and glasses with me so I was able to take them out. My eyes continued to burn and were blurry for the remainder of the night. They still felt a bit "sore" today. I have to also agree with some of the other reviews that the blue color looks fake and you can see a bit of the natural color of the eye in the middle. To sum up, I am very disappointed because the lens that are sold now are have a horrible muddy blue color because they have black stripes in them. Not sure if I will try them on again....”

“Absolute scam of a company when it comes to service.
Received my order, one of the lenses was faulty and ended up burning my eye.
After numerous communication, they agreed to send a replacement (had to take a picture and cut the lens in half).
This is where it gets interesting, shared the picture of the lens cut in half and ISABELLE, advised me this is not their lens and it looks completely different.
I then shared numerous pictures at different angles with no response for over 3 days. Raised as dispute with my bank which then miraculously triggered a response that a replacement will be sent.
Scam of a company which will try any tricks to get away. If you are not willing to go through a lengthy dispute process through your bank then do not order from them.
Response upon replacement received:
"As the issue has been resolved I would ask that you kindly contact your bank and ask for this dispute to be canceled/closed."”

“Contacts were not comfortable AT ALL, despite having a second pair shipped to me at the correct base curve. I tried 2 different pairs to no success. I have been wearing color contacts for over 20 years. Currently using the air optics brand for the last decade. Wished your contacts worked out as I waited impatiently to received them. Can’t recommend sorry!”
