“We were extremely pleased with the first order. Helpful on phone and ordered on line. The timber arrived within 3 days which was amazing. However a further order was made and instead of using their own transport for some deliveries they gave the contract to Tuffnells. On phoning we were told they are waiting to hear back from Tuffnells and they do not even give you a delivery slot. So when you make an order make sure it is delivered by Southgate and not sub contracted out. Especially for delivery over £100 Wright”

“I ordered £800 worth of western red cedar for a fencing project, it should have been top quality for the price but 10% of the boards were write-offs, big knots holed through, rough finish not PAR, or just plain damaged. Got a refund in the end but took plenty of arguing with customer service. Simple solution, check what you send out first.”
