“I think splosh is a good Idea as it means less plastic to recycle also ordering was very easy and it came quick I will also use them now for my cleaning and household stuff”

“We have been Splosh customers for about 6 years. The initial appeal was the re-use of bottles, home delivery via Royal Mail and compact storage - all of which contribute to a significant reduction in the amount of CO2 generated. Over the years Splosh has critically examined what it does, making environmentally beneficial changes. Splosh maintain their products, which work well, are not tested on animals but I'm not aware of more detailed information about the constituents. This would be welcome. Whenever there has been a problem with an order, Splosh have acted speedily and efficiently to correct it. Overall we feel this is an innovative business which merits our support.”

“I’ve used the non bio laundry liquid and fabric conditioner. Both products work really well and only require a capful of the former and half a capful of the latter. So, although the initial price point seems a bit high it lasts for ages and is therefore economical and better for the environment on this point alone. The softness of the wash is better than conventional brands and no skin irritation whatsoever. The only downsides (and reason for not full stars) are firstly that my husband finds the smell a bit ‘soapy’ (I’ve used both scents so far) so I’ve agreed to try the unscented version next time. Secondly the bottles need improvement. They are identical so it’s hard to tell which is which at first glance, although I notice the label style has recently been changed. Also the design of the dispenser is not as good as conventional brands and is therefore a bit messier. Despite these minor negatives I would recommend as overall it is a great product.”

“Early days but my initial impressions are very favourable - the products are pleasantly scented, well presented and effective. I am going to link with friends and family initially to gather used refills for recycling - good idea! Please can you reassure me that this is Vegan Animal friendly”

“Really love most of the products. Ordering refills is quick and easy. Most of the products smell amazing and they clean really well. The only one I wasn't keen on was the toilet cleaner, it just didn't seem to clean that well.”

“Lovely products, great to be able to recycle perfectly usable plastic bottles which I already have in the cupboard. A bit expensive but hopefully if more people use these the price will become more competitive in the future, we have to start somewhere and all do our bit.”

“I have found the method of delivery and return very good. I have been using the bathroom and toilet cleaner, fabric conditioner for more than a year and have recommended these to friends. I have stain remover but have not yet tried this. I tried the washing up liquid and washing powder but found it didn't last as long as expected, or wasn't a sufficient quantity. I therefore continue to use Ecover washing powder in a large box, and refills of Ecover washing up liquid.”

“I love the fact that these products reduce plastic waste. Cleaning products work well & smell nice to. Had a few issues with orders not arriving or spillages but splosh team are fast to respond & send replacements. Orders generally arrive within a few days of ordering.”

“Great company to buy from. Really good products that clean well, amazing scents and last well. Refilling system is easy and great for reducing waste. Only thing I’d say they could improve is sending an email out when they plan to deliver as I have never received an estimate delivery date when I’ve bought products, so you never know when it’ll turn up - usually within 5 days though.”

“I have been using the washing up liquid for some time now as it is kind to my hands as well as the environment. It is fine for most washing up, though I do sometimes have to revert to Fairy Liquid for really heavy cleaning”

“Have ordered several items from splosh. I like the products but not the packaging which is a faff. The packing system means you have a lot of boxes in your cupboard waiting to be utilized before you can return them. You can only return when you have 8 packages empty. I like a "pod" system better. It can be a little pricey too compared to other manufactuerers”

“I have just purchase my first refill pouches after trying pit a few products. I love the smells and I find they work just as work as any other product I would have used. It was great seeing how many plastic bottles I've saved using buying the refils. I will definitely be buying more refils and trying some more products.”

“Love the products. All so easy to use and love that I can return them for recycling. Only room for improvement is that when I recently ordered two pouches of washing up liquid and two lots of dishwasher tablets they came in four separate packages, not great for helping the environment. Slightly bigger packaging could have put them all in one box.”
