“I'm a local regular at Squires and find it difficult to understand why it has taken such a long time for Squires to be in the top 5 in the UK. On a visit earlier this year we sat next to a couple on holiday from Derby, and after their meal they said you can forget Rick Stein and Whitby this beats them all and would definitely come again next time they come to Devon. I agree completely agree with their comments.”
“ordered two portions of chips, one large, one small, halloumi fries and a small cod. absolutely zero size difference between the small and large chips. chips were underdone with no salt and vinegar despite asking for it. halloumi fries were greasy and soggy. small cod was the only saving grace. very disappointing as i’d heard good things about this place”

We didn't book and they very kindly said if we waited 10 minutes, they would find us a table. They took our order as we waited and our food was served within 5 minutes of sitting down. Very impressed with the attitude of the staff and how they represented this establishment at a very busy time.. All were very smartly dressed. 100% all around! Well done.”
