My experience with Star Action Figures has been nothing short of appalling. I contacted them about a missing item, and instead of receiving any form of support, I was met with dismissive, condescending, and downright rude responses from Wayne, the owner. Wayne’s attitude throughout the entire exchange was disgusting. Rather than treating me like a customer with a genuine issue, he spoke to me like a problem he wanted to get rid of. He dismissed everything I said, accused me of “patterns” of behaviour, and even tried to suggest my emails weren’t written by me. The arrogance, hypocrisy and hostility in his tone were unbelievable for someone running a business. What should have been a simple conversation about a missing item turned into one of the most unprofessional interactions I’ve ever had with any company. Instead of listening or helping, Wayne went out of his way to belittle me, make personal remarks, and shut down the discussion without any intention of resolving it. If this is how the owner behaves when a customer raises a concern, it tells you everything you need to know about the company. Absolutely appalling service and a complete lack of respect. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Dreadful experience from Wayne and his team via eBay. Bought an item at auction and was super pleased only to find that the item came with a rather large blemish even though it was sold as new and was highlighted in the description that any blemish would be shown in the listing ( which they weren’t ) Contacted the team and asked for a partial refund due to this damage and the fact I wanted to keep the figure due to it being one I’d wanted for a while. I was quickly met with a reply that said they wouldn’t play any games and offer any partial refunds. They did reluctantly offer to refund me if I returned the item but Wayne would ban me from any further auctions in the future if I chose this method. Remember it’s a statutory right in the UK to return an item within 30 days if damaged so I’m not sure why he thought it was fair to punish me in such a way for wanting to make use of my rights. After speaking to eBay’s agents they advised I was totally in the right to complain as the item had been sold as new and what I received was not deemed new ( due to the large scratch ). Wayne also before blocking me in childish manner decided to mention that if I was to return the item he would be requested a strike against my account via the eBay team. After again speaking to the team at eBay they highlighted that Wayne was not able to do this and he was also wrong instating that it was against the rules to request a partial refund via direct messages. Eventually the agent put a case together highlighting how Wayne was trying to manipulate the outcome of the situation by only offering me the choice to keep the damaged item or return it and face being blocked on any future purchases. Overall I’m disgusted by the approach that was taken directly by Wayne himself. I shall be taking my customs elsewhere in the future which is a-shame as before this I could only rant and rave about the service they provided at SAF.

Steer clear. This store is toxic. If your purchase works out you have nothing to fear but if something happens to be wrong you're in for the ride of your life if the owner gets hold of your details. Mistakes don't happen at Star Action Figures or SAF as the owner likes to call it. Go to more reputable places like IDToys or ZGToys.
