“This review is specific to the $200 phone reward after one year of service. I was told I had a reward for $200 to use toward any phone at Straight Talk or Walmart. Considering the vast array of choices I went with walmart.com. I picked out the phone I wanted and it was a Note 20 Ultra. I had one in the past and it was my favorite of all. I was super excited. I put in the card number per instructions but was unable to use my credit. I called Straight Talk. A nice lady assisted me and tried and was unable to complete the purchase. She suggested I go to the Walmart store as it was a walmart.com issue. I live a good distance from Walmart and decided to give it another try and had the same issue. I had a nice young man assist me at Straight Talk and he tried for 45 minutes to complete the transaction but was also unable to. He escalated the ticket. When on the Walmart app I saw a feature id never seen before that said benefit programs. Since the credit was applied to a ‘device OTC’ I clicked the tab. About 3 phones showed up as eligible. They were about $50 phones. So I would lose the rest of my reward. I wasn’t able to purchase my Note 20. I called Straight Talk again explained the problem and the gentleman suggested I find a phone any phone from their app and found several phones that were very nice and decided to use my credit there. After finding the phone I wanted he was unable to complete the transaction using the card number I had been provided. After being on hold he told me he was sorry that since I had put it in my wallet at Walmart I had to use it there and it could not be used at Straight Talk. The $200 credit issued by Straight Talk couldn’t be transferred back. I was told they were sorry but they would do nothing. I explained I was told I could use the reward on any phone at Walmart but this was untrue. Even the straight talk employees assisting me believed this to be true. They didn’t care. This appears to be a way for straight talk to get out of issuing the full reward. You think you’re getting a $200 credit but find you can only purchase a $50 or $60 cheap phone and they get to keep most of their money. I feel tricked and uninformed. I feel a company as big as Straight Talk should honor the credit on the phone of my choice at Walmart just as they wouod on their site. Many carrier phones are compatible with Straight Talk. I feel I was terribly mislead and this is poor business practice.”
“I spoke with your Representative Almar today and he was very patient, friendly and helpful! He's an excellent representative for your company from what I observed talking with him today. He was very efficient and quick in resolving the issues I called about. If you give rewards or bonuses to your Representatives I'd highly recommend that Almar receive one.”
“I have contacted Straight Talk customer service again. And was told I could change my cell number after 24 hours. It had been 24 hours and the woman at customer service would not change my number. She thought my issue was very amusing and was laughing. I requested to speak to a supervisor, she told not answer me. The line went silent and the she hung up. I situation is not funny. My job is in direct correlation with my area code on my cell phone. If I can't advertise with the correct Area code (480), then I can not work. With NO work, there is No Money to Pay my Rent. If I can not pay my rent, I lose my home. I do Not want to be homeless. I do not live in Maricopa County, which is the area code straight talk Customer Service issued me. I live in Pinal County. Every Day they refuse to fix this problem, is a day I LOOSE WORK!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME. I AM RUNNING OUT OF SAVINGS QUICKLY.”
“I recently experienced a series of frustrating issues with Straight Talk and Tracfone that have left me severely dissatisfied. My SIM card was disabled after requesting a phone number change due to a scam attempt targeting my phone number, which subsequently prevented me from using my phone or receiving crucial verification codes for accessing my bank account. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I purchased a new Tracfone SIM card and service plan. However, Tracfone has claimed there is an IMEI mismatch, which they say prevents me from activating the new SIM card. Despite providing the necessary PIN and attempting to verify my account by providing two phone numbers I have called in the last 60 days, Tracfone's insistence on this verification method has left me unable to use my purchased service plan effectively.Throughout this ordeal, I have spent over 8 hours on the phone with various customer service representatives, but unfortunately, I have not received any meaningful assistance. This lack of resolution has resulted in significant financial loss, as I am now left with unusable service plans that I have paid for.I am deeply disappointed with the level of customer service provided by both Straight Talk and Tracfone. Despite my long-standing loyalty as a customer, the inability to resolve such critical issues in a timely manner has severely impacted my trust in these companies. I would strongly advise anyone considering Straight Talk or Tracfone to think twice before choosing their services.”
“Do you suspect your spouse of cheating, are you being overly paranoid or seeing signs of infidelity...Then he sure is cheating: I was in that exact same position when I was referred to JOSE through my best friend Anna, who helped me hack into my boyfriend's phone, it was like a miracle when he helped me clone my boyfriend's phone and I got first-hand information from his phone. Now I get all his incoming and outgoing text messages, emails, call logs, web browsing history, photos and videos, instant messengers(facebook, whatsapp, bbm, Instagram, etc) , GPS locations, phone tap to get live transmissions on all phone conversations.
