“I think I have been scammed by Bitmartsd.com. I was invited to trade at bitmartsd.com and I transferred funds (86,000 USD) there. They said I have to transfer another 5000 USD after seeing a supposed profit of 44,000 USD added to my initial capital or else they will block my funds which I did and I was asked to transfer another 10,000 USD then I started suspecting it to be a scam, the website also looks much simpler than the bitmart.com website. I did my research and came in contact with “R e c o v e r y c o in g r o u p a t g m a i l d o t c o m” who recovered all my funds in less than 72 hours. Although it wasn’t free, it was worth it. I promised to let everyone know about the Recovery Coin Group (RCG). I strongly recommend RCG.”

“Tried to order a contract phone had no email or contact from them selfs to say I had been excepted also received no phone or SIM card week later £29.99 come out my bank I rang to say that there had been a problem and that I received no goods or contact from themselfs but they sed I had signed up I asked them to cancel my subscription but got told I couldn’t receive a refund in the same week another £10 come out my bank to which I had to phone again and got told same I was eligible for a refund I went through my bank to get money back which I received only for them to take it out again stay away nothing but a scam”

“Absolute scam of a company. Cancelled my order because it was no longer needed. They have an automatic/opt out "rewards" where they take 19.99 out of your account every two weeks. But the cost is hidden in writing and isnt very open about the frequency of the payments. I didn't even know i had signed up until the payment came out! contacted their customer service team, and they were so dismissive and didnt initially want to refund me, they agreed to refund me, and had assured me they had taken my card details off their website. 2 weeks later, the money comes out again! Contacted their customer service team who then denied that any payment had been taken! Once I showed them the screen shots she reluctantly agreed to refund me, took 2 weeks for the money to go into my account. Again promising they had removed my card details. AND THEN LITTERALLY 2 DAYS LATER THEY TAKE IT OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AGAIN!! 1 week later, I've had radio silence from them. Won't answer my emails, and no live chat response. Absolute scam of a company and borderline criminal. I doubt it takes someone with more than 1 GSCE to delete someone's card information and refund them money, but apparently so.”

This practice is very old amongst man yet every new generation seems to birth new ideas and tricks inspired by whatever the latest pandemic or current trends is there is to exploit. Unfortunately i have also fallen a victim to scammers, This time it was as an investment opportunity designed to elevate me from suffering. The economy was hitting hard and I was behind on 90% of my bills, my restaurant business was in a very bad place financially so it was either I get run down with time due to lack of capital or somehow improve my finances in other to have the capital I needed to save my business and my life in general.
