“I'm a big fan of SCF but not this fabric I'm afraid. It's definitely well priced but it doesn't look OR feel like denim. It's thin (lightweight, which is mentioned on product page) but it's also shiny without the characteristic denim look, and resembles thick polyester.”

“I cannot fault Super Cheap Fabrics service and the fabric is very soft and a lovely colour. I just didn’t read the information closely enough and I found it thinner than I expected so I will need to use it for another make. It will make a lovely dress or top. It’s quite squishy and has good drape. I also made the mistake of washing it with another new fabric and it shed all over. So wash it by itself the first time.”

“Not the texture or drape I associate with linen. Feels more like 6% linen, if more, certainly not as much as 60%: very floppy, soft and thin (magnify to see how thin). I’m sorry I washed it and would prefer to send it back. Definitely not the dress I planned. … Tablecloth? … Do I even want this on my table?”

“Shipment: It took a few days to get an update that shipment had gone out, having said that it does state on the website that it can take longer if there is a higher volume of orders coming in and I was ordering in the middle of a sale. Delivery time was normal but since I ordered almost 40m of fabric it was a heavy bag. Unfortunately the bag got ripped at one corner during shipment which resulted in the designer chiffon being ripped as well. Maybe doubling up the shipment bag for heavy orders might help. Fabrics: I have to admit I was surprised about the great quality of the fabric! For 3 fabrics the colours were (ever so) slightly off, either more intense or slightly more pink but that isn’t really a problem. Other fabrics I ordered because I thought the print might look nice (since I have learned that online pictures can be deceiving) actually turned out to be stunning in reality. All fabrics (even the polyester one) are soft to touch and going to be lovely to wear. I’m super happy with my purchase.”

“Delivery was great, however the description of the uses for this fabric included good for dresses. The weight is much too heavy for a dress and that's what I wanted it for. I don't need another coat.”

“Quick delivery. Unfortunately there was a small cut mark in the fabric that I identified after it had been washed. Wil lbe able to work around it. Otherwise very happy.”

“The fabric beautiful and soft. I have washed on a wool wash with cold water and come ups wonderful. Now I just need to make a coat with it. As always supercheap fabrics go to great lengths to provide good fabrics at wonderful prices.”
