“This tweed is a lovely medium weight, wool blend fabric. As recommended by many sewists, it is best to launder fabrics before construction to prevent shrinkage. This fabric responded well to washing with no shrinkage. I look forward to making a warm jacket, lined with "Teddy Bear" satin for the winter. Thank you Super Cheap for enabling us to have good fabrics at an affordable price.”

“I am very pleased with this fabric. More care needs to be taken when cutting the required length as it is not cut straight, which means the fabric is not the same length across the width.”

“The fabric feels nice. Thicker than I expected but it will work for a skirt and maybe a cropped bolero/jacket. Unfortunately there are some dirty marks on this and I hope they wash out.”

“Very happy with most fabrics from SCF. I have noticed though the quality of some fabrics differ for different colours. In particular wool. Sometimes it takes a bit long for my order to be dispatched. My last order took around a week from payment being made to being dispatched, then awaiting delivery. I would not recommend if in a hurry for the fabric.”

“Beautiful fabric, great price and very fast shipping, but unfortunately the material was squashed so tight in the postpak, that I 'snipped' the fabric when opening, even though I was as careful as I could possibly be. I was able to work around it, but you may want to consider ziplock bags to hold the fabric, or bigger postpaks.”
