Shockly poor company, Auto renewed buildings insurance, when challenged and demanded refund the adviser refused.

Even when asking to be put through to their complaints department they cut you off! As i questioned, if they are this incompetent at the start of a policy, what on earth are they like in the even of a claim? They have now been reported to the obbedsman for a full refund of all costs.

I have be waiting over 4 weeks for a refund payment but have not received it and have had no update regarding my case.

They hold your card details, automatically take payment a week prior to your renewal, then take six days to refund. Answephone says they open at 8.30 when they open at 9am. They make it so hard to cancel or not renew policy, staff are rude and unhelpful. I will never purchase any insurance service from them again

I put in a complaint, requesting a refund, so far I have heard nothing, it’s been a week since, so not expecting anything now, my advice, shop elsewhere.

When I rang I asked if the existing cover could be suspended until completion happened on the house I am moving to, I was told I had to be refunded, the only way to deal with the situation.

As a result of the system they use online i am going to cancel the policy less than 24 hours after signing up,thankfully after reading the comments on here and the fact that i am within the 14 days cooling off period i hope to get my deposit back,if they don't refund me i will inform my bank to stop the payment and to block all attempts to take money from my account.
