"I\u2019ve been a loyal Sydney Tools customer for years and spent thousands of dollars with them, but after my recent experience I\u2019ll never shop there again.\r\n\r\nOn 27\/08\/2025 I purchased a Super Hydro 30m high-pressure hose from Sydney Tools Tuggerah. After ONE residential job (cleaning a driveway, bricks, curb guttering, and fences) the hose was already worn down to the wire braiding, making it unsafe to use. This is a product advertised as \u201cabrasion resistant\u201d and \u201cdesigned for professional use.\u201d\r\n\r\nWhen I returned the hose, the excuses started: first they told me it must have been \u201cincorrect transport,\u201d then that I had \u201cmisused it,\u201d and later they claimed it had been \u201ccut.\u201d At no point did they provide evidence\u2014just assumption after assumption.\r\n\r\nThe most shocking part? My warranty claim was actually APPROVED through Sydney Tools\u2019 own customer service. I went into the store to choose a replacement, only for head office to reverse the decision and deny it without explanation. Even the sales staff in Tuggerah admitted I had been treated unfairly.\r\n\r\nThis is disgraceful customer service. A $200 hose failed after one basic job, my warranty was approved and then unfairly revoked, and I was left accused of things I didn\u2019t do. Sydney Tools clearly prioritises profits over customers, despite their claims of \u201ccustomer satisfaction before, during and after each sale.\u201d\r\n\r\nIf you value honesty, accountability, or fair treatment under Australian Consumer Law, avoid Sydney Tools.\r\nComplaints have been filed with ACCC and Fair Trading"

"I purchased a backup sanding pad for my Festool hand sander, the item was unopened and unused I have tried to have an exchange for the correct item however the female manager who seemed like a robot rather than a person kept saying it is over 14 day old so we can't exchange it !! \r\nRegardless that the item does not fit the sander or work as intended The Head office female manager robot kept repeating that they can not exchange it as it is older than 14 days.\r\nDO Not shop at Sydeney tools as they do not follow Australian trade regulations, they will sell you anything take your money and if not returned within 14 days then it just Tuff Luck for you.\r\nI recommend Total Tools or Bunnings at least you get to do a Refund or exchange.\r\nSydney Tools are just ther to get your money."
