“AWFUL company to deal with.
Bought a sink (Vellamo Quartz Granite) advertised as extremely tough and resilient to chips, scratches and staining. It isn't. At only 6 months old, the sink has multiple chips and scratches despite using a plastic bowl in the sink for added protection. It endlessly has white hazy stains within the material both in the sink and on the drainer. Expensive granite cleaner does not remove the staining either. Tapwarehouse will not even entertain this sink might even be faulty and to add insult to injury have offered a discount to buy another sink from them!!! Laughable. Will never use nor recommend them.
Even spoke with a sales representative who confirmed some usage instructions completely contrary to those from the manufacturer!!!”
“I bought a Butler & Rose Ceramic Fireclay Belfast Kitchen Sink with Waste - 600 x 450mm from Tapwarehouse only to find on delivery it is a RAK sink. When I queried this I was told that on the invoice they declared it to be a sink manufactured by RAK. Too late to cancel the order. I paid approx. £50 more for this sink simply because i thought it was a Butler and Rose. I also paid £20 delivery. If i want to return it i have to pay £40.
I’ve asked more than once how Tapwarehouse can justify this and they refuse to give me a decent answer.
Shall be contacting Trading Standards as I feel well and truly mislead.

DO NOT BUY A Butler and Rose SINK FROM TAPWAREHOUSE as you'll be paying a premium for the name alone, the product is a RAK which can be bought elsewhere for a more reasonable price.”
