“My son thoroughly enjoyed the 3D Printing camp in Fulham and learnt so much from it. It was an amazing experience to be able to build his own 3D printer and bring it home afterwards to continue his design ideas. The young tutors were knowledgeable and friendly and the whole week was very well organised and professional. I just wish I’d heard of Tech Camp sooner, as my son will be above the upper age limit by next summer, but I’m so glad he had this experience.”
“Excellent course, my son learned so much and is still using the knowledge now. They should provide follow up lesson online that would be even better.”
“My children did the computer and 3D printing courses and enjoyed it a lot. Especially the printing course, it is amazing to get to build and take the equipment with you at the end of the session. They are already printing things at home, and planning new designs. The computer has been fun as well, and encouraged them to continue coding more things onto it. These courses are a bit expensive, but the kids have enjoyed it, the venue is very nice, the take away equipment is great, and they have continued interest even after the classes are done. Looking forward to next summer and more courses with Tech Camp.”
“This is one of the best camp my son ( 14 years old) has attended. He has been on Winchestor residential camp twice - Python AI and 3D Printing course. He learnt so much and came back inspired with new interests in Aerospace engineering. This is really worth your time and money - it may sound expensive but you really get more than you put in. Its all worth it - Tutor's are so knowledgeable. On logistics front - Food/Breakfast is amazing and very healthy. Evening activities are great keeps them really engaged. They are really very thoughtfully planned. Rooms are so clean and neat.
My son learnt so much is short span of 1 week's time. It's an amazing genuine camp. Special Thank you to Tech Camp for all the support which made it possible for my son to attend the camp. Thank you so much.”
“Absolutely brilliant, staff were amazing and the activities in the evening were brilliant for my son who had never been away from home before. Although it seems expensive at first you understand why when you go there; great teaching, equipment, food, activities, accomodation and a 3D printer to take home as well! Would really reccomend.”
“Excellent residential camp for teens interested in technology and engineering. Our son really enjoyed the programme and additional activities. Sparsholt College was a great venue out in the country, and he felt safe and secure there. We have already booked another course for the summer holidays!”
“My son really enjoyed his first time with the residential camp, he particularly enjoyed making the RC car, the soldering process, and the evening activities.”
“Tech Camp was a brilliant experience for our 12 year old technology-mad son. He had a wonderful time learning how to build a whole range of electronics and keen to share what he had built each evening. All the staff were kind and knowledgeable and took a real interest in each student. My son loved it so much he asked at the end if he could rather attend Tech Camp everyday instead of school! I just wish we had found out about this earlier!”
“My son thoroughly enjoyed the 3D games design camp in August. He is quite an advanced programmer, so the design of the course really suited him, because you can go at our own pace. He finished the five-day course work in 2.5 days and was able to use the remaining time to create a new game with the help of the instructor. The instructor was very knowledgable and engaging.”
“My son had a great time - he learned a lot and really got into drones and enjoyed it. It was his first residential camp away and he had a great experience and made lots of friends. He already said he want to go back next year!”
“My 12yrs old son loved his 5 days residential camp.
It's a pretty unique combination of spending time away while working on a STEM project, I haven't found any other company doing this so hard to compare.
It's quite expensive, though between the full board in individual room and the many tutors around it definitely doesn't feel like a rip off.
The description of the courses is obviously a bit overselling the actual activity. For example my son did "Python AI" which sounds super fancy, but I'm reality all they did was some basic Python coding that used AI libraries. Didn't really go into teaching/understanding those.... Still, I don't think it would have been possible to go beyond that in 5 short days with kids as young as 12, so not holding it against them.”
“My 11 year old son loved it- great training by young university student and he came back thrilled each day. Expensive, but worth it (gadget inventor). Good communication from the experienced professional teacher on site every day too.”
“My son thoroughly enjoyed every day at Tech Camp. He designed and made different items each day, had excellent tutors, made friends with likeminded students, and loved going. The camp was very well organised, and we’ll sign up again next year!”
