“This was an excellent course. There was a very good balance of theoretical background with a cross-section of teaching methods and classroom management strategies. Many very good practical examples were provided in all modules. The unit assignments were very good learning opportunities that required more in-depth processing and integration of the information provided in the modules. Overall, a solid foundation was provided by the course for teaching EFL students.”

“This was a well designed course! The units went into great detail and I liked how there were lists of external resources at the end of each unit that you could explore if you wanted to learn more about a particular topic. The assessments were appropriately challenging and very useful. I would highly recommend it.”

“As someone who is going through a major career change at 26, this was such a a good option to get my foot in the door. The course content had depth and did not disappoint. The platform usability was easy, however I did not like the platform my "Teaching English to Arabic Speakers" specialization was on. You definitely get the best bang for you buck, as well as having the name of the University of Toronto on your certificate is a plus. Overall this was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone trying to get TEFL certified.”

“Regarding customer service it is the best I’ve seen so far. You will get a response on the same day and it will be detailed and helpful, especially from Sepp. Sepp has been helping me since I started considering the TEFL program and was one of the reasons I chose to take the course. The course content was pact full of amazing lessons and instructional videos and demonstrations. The course website was very easy to navigate. The assignments wouldn’t take longer than two days to be graded ,and sent back to you with clear and detailed feedback and notes. The support service again from Sepp has been amazing, he has been assisting with my resume and finding a career after I have finished the program. After I finished my 120 hour course I was offered an additional 10 hour special for free. In conclusion this has been an amazing course, with an amazing support team definitely worth every dollar spent.”

“Good, engaging course. This is not the kind of 120-hr course you can do in 40 hours. It was a lot of work, in a good way! It had theoretical and practical lessons and assignments. I loved the format.”

“I thought this was a great course. It was nice to work at my own pace while also learning everything I will/would need and then being able to choose one or two extra for specialization. When it came to marking I got all my critique's back fast and with constructive criticism.”

“The course was excellent! The readings were very in-depth, and the assignments were challenging, but I learned a lot from them. I received my digital certificate shortly after completing the course and I am now waiting for the hard copy to be mailed. Super excited! A big thank you to Sepp and Nyla for their assistance throughout the course!”

“I enjoyed the platform’s usability. It was easy to log in, find where I left off and download any pertinent materials. The course content was well organized, very informative and easy to follow, and the variety of presentation methods was beneficial for different learning styles. The quizzes at the end of each unit helped prepare for the test at the end of each lesson. Also, the customer and support services were great resources for any questions that came up along the way. While it was a self-paced course, I never felt like I was alone. I would definitely recommend this course. Excellent value for the money!”

“I recently completed the TEFL course and I was very impressed with the experience. The course offered a variety of teaching tools and method, ensuring that we are well-equipped to teach in diverse classrooms. From interactive lessons and multimedia resources to practiacal teaching techniques, it was a well-rounded program that really prepares one for real-world taeching. “I really enjoyed the program. There is lots of interaction and links to sources. I would recommend "building a tool box" for your teaching, as there are too many resources provided to be able to consult them all! The support provided was fantastic, the course content is extremely relevant, many learning opportunuities, even for one with an MEd! I believe the 150 hours is on the low side, if you want to perform all the activities as prescribed. The platform used was very intuitive, I used it without issues. Once you get the "lay of the land" the site is very easy to navigate. I conducted research and this seemed to be the best program/value for money and learnin gopportunuity. I have no regrets and I look forward to start using this new qualification!”
