“I liked the lessons and assignments, as I thought they were well suited for beginners in teaching English. However, I had initially enrolled because I heard about the great tutor support, which wasn't the case when I joined, as I didn't receive any emails, nor feedback from my tutor.”
“I found ittt contents interesting but very difficult videos were not very well done very bad audio questions were very ambiguous and designed to decieve, could be far better and more informative, assistance during course could also be improved response time was too slow, other than that the course needs to be more user friendly more simple.”
“It is good, but if you have future ways to certify the certificate to be more credited, through embassies or in other ways. cuz in some countries it is not an official cert.

“I have been teaching English abroad for a few years now and I cannot say that i learned anything that better prepares me to help my students in the classroom. I did think that the grammar sections were broken down in simple and easy to learn way, but nowadays there are plenty of similar resources free online through grammar help websites and peer-to-peer sharing. Much of the content seemed outdated, for example, the unit on research and how to use the web. Sporadically throughout my units I was given the impression that it has been quite some time since the curriculum has been updated. And finally, the system of testing after each units needs to be changed if the students are going to take the curriculum seriously. The tests themselves went against the recommendations given in the curriculum- they provide no way for the test makers to actually evaluate how much a student got out of the lessons and whether or not they were ready to move on- the tests simply require a reference to the unit or memorization lines of section....no critical thinking was involved.
I will say that the ITTT staff was lovely. I chose this certificate program over others in part because the online assistance was quick and helpful. A few times throughout the course I sent emails with questions and always received a speedy response. As for the final lesson plan, I feel that the curriculum is still too vague and I had the impression that lesson plans are seldom accepted on the first attempt as I received rather general stock feedback after my first submission. Nonetheless, every email I received from my grader and technical staff thereafter was promptly sent and helpful in some way”
“Honestly the course was very simple. I didn't learn so much how to teach, rather what was important to teach in their eyes. Yet, it did give me the qualifications to teach but they did not help me in any way find a job. I am having to do that on my own. So really if you just need a slip of paper saying that you can do this, then this program is perfect for you. No more then that.”
“I would like to retake the course abroad under a new teacher, the course in Prague was a joke compared to what i learned online, i was teaching my fellow classmates from my notes i took from the online course, and when i confronted the school about wanting my money back to spend it on another course somewhere else i was treated very direspectfuly and pretty much laughed at. Because of my treatment i backed off and didnt even finish my online certifications for young learners and buisness and would like to be able to complete them, now that i have calmed down almost a year later.”
