“When the order was ready, they called me to let me know I can collect it. I realeaised I had erroneously selected collection instead of Delivery. When I contacted Bash to correct this they said they had no way to do so, and that I Would have to cancel my order, have my money refunded, and order again. I checked and the item was now out of stock so I wouldn't even be able to do that. I would have to wait for the item that was already at the warehouse closest to my house to be returned to the main distribution center and re-entered as available stock, and then hope that I could ourchase it again before someone else. I had to find a third party delivery company at short notice during the festive season. CRAZY that in 2026 a company as large as Bash has no way to change the fulfillment option after purchase.
Aside from that all the employees I dealt with were very understanding, courteous and well mannered, they were unfortunately just held back ny the fact that their company has no actual process in place to change the fulfillment option after purchase.
I drove to the collection point with my third party delivery company and saw the Bash delivery trucks there loading up items for delivery to my area. Crazy that I couldn't just come to the delivery centre, pay the delivery fee and have the item loaded onto one of their trucks that was already doing deliveries to my area.
Aside from that, the Bash app never let me know my order was ready for collection, had they not called me I would never have known. When I collected it, the order when straight from getting ready to collected.”
