About Charles Payne and Payne's Education:

At the age of 14, Charles Payne became fascinated with Wall Street. In the years that followed he knew in his heart it was his path to prosperity – the catalyst that would lift him from the depths of poverty in his old Harlem neighborhood to the height of wealth on Wall Street. Against all odds… driven by sheer will and determination… he succeeded!

But Wall Street was not all that Charles had envisioned it to be. The system was flawed and skewed in favor of the firms rather than the investors. Compensation was based on making money for the "house," not the clients. This “broken system” forced good, hardworking salespeople to recommend stocks, funds, and products that were not always the best option for the clients.

Frustrated and disenchanted with this reality… Charles left his high-commission Wall Street job to start his independent market research firm. Using his unique investing strategy, Charles created a winning record of selecting stocks that produced returns exceeding the market’s averages. His success caught the attention of the media. He was frequently asked to appear on CNBC, and when Fox Business was launched in 2007, he was offered the opportunity to help guide investors on TV daily.

Today, in addition to hosting Making Money with Charles Payne (2 pm Eastern M-F on Fox Business), Charles also guest hosts for Stuart Varney and Neil Cavuto. Charles also appears on Fox News as “The Money Man” on America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer.

However, helping individual investors is Charles’ real passion. Through his books, Unbreakable Investor and Unstoppable Prosperity, and his educational and alert services, Charles is now helping tens of thousands of investors shorten their investing learning curves by allowing and empowering them to follow the same proven path that has brought him lasting success.

Your classes are very detailed and informative. I like that I can go back in the archives and study a subject closer. I like Rob Weiler and Greg Edmunds, but struggle a bit with Garry. As a student, I shouldn't have to feel awkward. Always being told to develop your "rules" is frustrating when you don't know where to start. It would be nice if he would explain different kinds of rules, why the need for rules, his own interpretation of how they work....and how he came to have his own. There is an amount of arrogance that is tough to get past sometimes with him.

While I had been traiding stock on and off for 30 years, I learned a great deal in the Stock educations classes. I made sure I attended everything I could and it has paid off. Now I've just started taking Option trading and I'm sure it will be just a good and valuable.

Your people do a great job. I had enrolled in 2019 and was with you for a couple of years and did very well. I bought a farm with the proceeds. I kept the farm for 3 years and sold it July of this year and made a good profit. I have come back to your firm because of the success I had before. I am trying to relearn everything I knew then. I am going to start Options in a couple of months as soon as I feel comfirtable with it. Please change my email address to jack@kellerstrass.com. Also I had called Cherie (?) a couple of weeks ago and I am waiting for her call

Thanks for the opportunity to provide some constructive feedback. It is difficult to understand how to manage a recommended hotline portfolio with the constant comment " we are moving this position to the current portfolio". It would be great to understand from the beginning that you in fact keep at least 2 portfolios - Hotline and Current. I think the Position Tracker is good but inconsistent. If I look for sector allocation in a specific account it shows in fact the sector allocation of all accounts. This is inconvenient and requires adding the positions manually to compare to the recommended sector allocation. At the beginning I received e-mails with the Hotline reports and trading alerts. Perhpas somewhat excessife. But know I don't receive any notifications by e-mail at all. Also inconvenient. Hope this helps.

I love the online training and I have learned a lot. My one main critique is that I would love tutorials on the reports that we get throughout the day or how to examine updates on stocks thorugh wstreet. As a novice to investing, I don't know how to interpret that information and use it.

I have learned many aspects of investing, the market, and strategies through Payne Education programs and your 2nd book. My expectations with the Masterclass Options Trading program is positive, but I do wish there was a better structure for the program to help with the learning process. The live sessions and videos are helpful, but some one on one interaction would be a great tool. I'm having a great experience with the programs and hope to continue to grow in my investing strategy for thre future. Joseph Miller

Sorry, this will be WAY more than 2 or 3 sentences... Overall I am happy with the value of the subscription. I'm 75 years old and relied on 3 different advisors to manage my accounts. I'm "drinking from a fire hose" right now but becoming more comfortable with taking a more active role. But the bottom line is I feel it has been time and money well-spent, even given the issues I express below. I have 3 key objectives for subscribing to Charles Payne's Wall Street Strategies (the "Hotline Service) and Payne's Education: 1. To create and maintain a portfolio that beats the S&P 500 Index. 2. To LEARN and SUCCESSFULLY APPLY the approach followed by Charles Payne’s Wall Street Strategies team. 3. To successfully maintain my portfolio on my own when my subscription expires. I do not believe that it would have been a wise decision for me to subscribe only to one of the services and not the other. I purposely delayed setting up my Starter Portfolio for 6 or 7 weeks so I could attend the Basic/Intermediate classes. That helped me avoid making serious mistakes when I finally created my portfolio. I also believe that it is difficult for me to provide an individual "score" for each of the two services. They are closely linked to and support each other. My Starter Portfolio represents only about 2% or 3% of my investments and is my "proving ground" for applying the "book learning" from Payne's Education and the "live learning" from the Hotline. Assuming I meet the 3 objectives above, I will expand the use of the techniques I learn in this first year to a larger portion of my investments. That being said, here is my 8-month review of the two services offered by Charles Payne: HOTLINE SERVICE - 1. The frequency of communications (Weekly "Payne's Perspective, morning and evening Hotline Reports, Hotline Alerts as needed) is "just right," not too much or too little. 2. The performance of my portfolio is not meeting my expectations. My 6-month results are below the S&P500 returns: 7.94% for my portfolio vs 10.21% for the S&P 500 Index. This is "where the rubber meets the road" and will be my focus for the next 4 monhths. 3. The initial instructions for how to use the Hotline Reports and Alerts most effectively weren't very clear. Early on, I made a mistake by trying to execute every "Long Idea" and quickly found myself out of cash and out of synch with the sector allocations in the Portfolio Approach. I now understand that the recommendations are, as the name suggests, IDEAS to be considered by the investor (me). 4. In most cases the rationale provided for the buy/sell recommendations is very limited. The "book learning" provided by Payne's Education is a great start, but I truly want to LEARN WHY the "experts" make the buy/sell recommendations in the "real world." Until I feel comfortable with investing MY money in a stock, I will have trouble meeting the three objectives above. 5. As I review the LONG ideas in the Hotline Reports and Alerts, I've found that some of the recommended stocks are rated poorly by other analyst services such as Schwab, CFRA and Morningstar. This causes me some "cognitive disonance" (aka, confusion) at times. 6. Finally, it seems that the team holds on to big losers (for example, ALB, DELL, ELF, GTLB) for too long. The performance of my portfolio has definitely suffered due to these 4 (and a few others) stocks. And I also recognize that it has only been 6 months and I just might have to eat my words in the future, as one or more of these "problem children" may prove me wrong. PAYNE'S EDUCATION - 1. The LIVE classes and Q&A sessions provide valuable and useful material. The level of detail in the Intermediate/Advanced classes is also "just right" although the pace seems fast at times. 2. Fortunately, the recordings of the lessons are available 24/7 on the web site. This allows me to view most lessons at least twice, which I have done for every class I have attended thus far. Notably, I "re-upped" for Education...the old saying ("It's hard teaching an old dog new tricks") is too true! 3. The Education team is timely in responding to my questions submitted by email. 4. The Advanced Peer-to-Peer Worksheet is a TERRIFIC tool for analyzing the fundamentals of individual stocks. However, the "Scored" tab doesn't seem to work well, so I manually develop my own scores. FINAL COMMENTS - These 2 services offered by Charles Payne fit together like a hand in a glove. I recommend that anyone considering subscribing to one of the services should seriously consider subscribing to the other service at the same time. I am optimistic that the next 4 months (for the Hotline service) and the next 10 months (for Payne's Education) well set me up for managing an investment portfolio to beat the S&P 500 and provide even greater security for my retirement years.

This program is great for the beginner. You have a great balance of instructors because they all teach differently. My constructive feedback to improve is to offer a stock and option "trading" class where that is the sole content. Additionally, I would make it so new students don't participate with beginner questions which slows the class down. I have renewed a few times and I have found it more challenging to want to participate in the classes because of the class material and type of student. For example: Having a slower instructor and beginner students in advanced classes downgrades how good that class could be. Thank you for soliciting this feedback. Just one more thing that makes this course a great one!

Good basic education on selecting candidate stocks and options, and recommedning "rules" for the trade. Instructers are expereinced, though we definately have our favorites.
