I was sorry that the accommodation provided was not satisfactory.
The comments concerning the hotel are accepted as constructive criticism and I thank you for bringing these to my attention. We do have an ongoing monitoring procedure and information such as this is very valuable as we review hotel entries for ongoing inclusion in our brochure
With reference to the location of the property, I am sorry that you felt the distance was not as described and I have viewed the hotel's own website and google maps. The latter states approximately 3 minutes from Kings Cross Station to WC1H 8AB being the postcode of The California.
For our part I am sorry that the above arrangements did not reach your expectations on this occasion and trust on reflection that this will not deter you from using our services again in the future.
