“Where to start, the shopping experience was second to none, the amount of information provided on not only the types of knives available but they also have a very good detail on the blacksmiths themselves. As for the knives they turned up in time very well packaged and very sharp, I had originally ordered 2 of the same knife one with a Japanese handle and one with a western style to see what felt comfortable, after picking one the return for the other was as easy as the order and I ended up exchanging for a bigger chefs knife. The blade themselves turned up exceptionally sharp and well balanced, I used them over the weekend and I must say after 20years being a chef they are the best knives I have used and will be replacing all knives with these in the future top quality product top quality customer service well recommended”

“I purchased two of the Sakai Takayuki VG10 knives with American Cherry handle.
The knives are excellent quality. They look superb and I've been using them for a while now. They are extremely sharp indeed, just what I wanted and they make short work of cutting just about anything as you'd expect.
They handle very well indeed and while I am very careful, one of them did bite me, just the once.
These are by far the best purchase I have made with respect to knives. I'm not sure how long they will keep their sharp edge but so far I'm impressed.
The only downside for me was the cheap plastic sheath they came with, for the price a more robust one would be expected.”
