“The Short Years is such a rewarding way to do a baby book. We started out with a digital photo app to upload pictures and memories to but generating a real book was not a clean or easy process. The Short Years gives you something to hold in your hand after just three chapters; you don’t have to wait until several years have already passed to click print.
Also, this is totally doable even if you start late. I started shortly before his 4th birthday. It’s definitely a bit more work to go look up notes and memories, but the app will also do 90% of that work by sorting the photos you upload into chapters. All you gotta do is remember what size clothes your baby was wearing ;)”
“The concept is very cool but the app is very difficult to use. It often freezes up or takes a long time to save. Placing photos isn’t user friendly as its not designed well for photo/layout arrangement. The layout options are limited especially for vertical photos and the app makes digging back through many photos on your phone very difficult.”
“This is a great concept and a product beautifully executed. It was easy to do and didn’t take a lot of time. I had some minor glitching or the app here and there that a quick restart solved. The finished product is absolutely priceless. My older kids will be jealous that they have the old traditional version. This is so much better”

They rip VERY easily when the book is full with the Toddler Years added. Also, one of my pages did not print as saved and I was told to reorder and be charged the $9.99 for their error, not mine. Disappointed after spending almost $200.00.”

With the app that guides you through a baby book and tells you photos to upload, it’s been pretty seamless to allow my children to have a comparable book in their future. The app is very easy to use, you can copy things from the previous child into the next child if you need to. The quality is beautiful. We like the keepsake envelope for all the extra stuff. I use the notes section to explain my children’s names, so they will always know, why we chose them. Overall it’s been a really great experience and I’ve recommended to many.”

“Honestly, it's not quite what I expected. I thought it would be a mixture of what it is and more of a journal, day to day this is what happened this week kind of thing. This seems more 'zoomed out' if you will, focusing on data that isn't that specific or should I say personal to your child. Useful, nice information, like names of relatives and how you did the reveal, but a lot of the information like relatives I don't even know, or know how to put down, if some of them have already passed away.”
