“We contacted Toast Design for our product packaging design and sent our prototypes along with our initial email. We were quickly introduced to Adam, the senior designer, who arranged a video call and took notes on all of our specifications.
After the video call, there was no customer service, and I had to repeatedly request a price quote before receiving an email from Adam a few weeks later stating "I apologise for the delay in responding. We are currently at maximum capacity and cannot accept any new projects."
Why did you waste my time preparing paperwork, video/phone calls, and pursuing you?
Why didn't you inform us at the outset that you were at full capacity if you were aware of this? And after conducting an investigation, they continue to accept customers, but it seems they discriminate against them and accept jobs based on the amount of money the customer is willing to pay, which must be their primary criterion for selecting customers.
Even if they were at capacity, they could have had the decency to say, "Our schedule is full, and the earliest date we can accommodate you is DD/MM/YYYY, but their intentions were quite clear.
While our budget for product packaging was £6,000, but we're not entirely sure how much this company wanted because we received discrimination prior to receiving a quote.”
