“Lovely garden centre especially at Christmas also love the cafe breakfast is great. I've been going to tong garden centre for years I don't know what is going on with the food in the shop very acquired taste I spent £90 on some ready meals and other bits all 6 ready meals was uneatable had to throw away unfortunately they need to have a word with the chef or cook that's making them also the portions for the price are really bad there's hardly nothing in the pots. The gravy tastes like red wine and blood!”
“I have been to the Mezzanine many times with friends & the meals have always been excellent. On Tuesday bitterly disappointed..... only Xmas menu available, Xmas Dinner looked good until I read roast pots seasoned with garlic ....Ugh!!! Did not fancy the giant pigs in blankets with mash, so opted for fish gougons with chips & peas which as also on Xmas menu, my friend decided on the same. The fish was OK but the chips were far to big looked anemic & were extremely dry, the peas also had no moisture. We both ate the fish but left most of the chips & peas.... I felt ours meals were a total waste of money, we has both been looking forward to smoked haddock with bubble & squeak with a poached egg on top..... our favourite, always well presented & delicious.... I sincerely hope you bring this back SOON please.”
“Tried the mezzanine today. My wife had the Sunday roast, pork and she said it was excellent. I had the burger. Ok but I felt it was over seasoned, especially with salt. Left me feeling I needed to drink.”
