Very obviously not experts, looks like some sort of very basic A.I. Used bogus stats Feedback was incorrect The person who allegedly did the feedback was not on LinkedIn All the people on LinkedIn were based in Vietnam etc (meant to be a Uk company) It’s a shame that people will use them to do their cv. Preying on people who may be desperate to find a job. Quite synical. This actually affects people’s lives. Should be ashamed of themselves

TopCV is a scam, plain and simple. They use bait-and-switch tactics to try to upsell you on services after your initial purchase (they said that I needed an upgrade from a resume service to a CV service, even though I purchased the CV service). The quality of the product they deliver is significantly worse than unacceptable. They basically took the CV that I sent them, changed the headers to standard Google Doc headers, and deleted about 2/3 of the items. When they sent it back to me the majority was yellow-highlighted asking me to fill it out. The person writing my CV did not understand what it means to have an "affiliation", and listed everywhere I had sat on a committee as an "affiliation". This basic error signals that they are not using people who have professional experience. Basically, if you want to pay 100+ Euros to write your own CV in a standard Docs format, then this is the service for you.

TopCV It is a fraud. The draft they sent is full of all type of mistakes. I tried to help correcting more than 5 revisions. The mistakes became more with each revision. The sentences were wrong mixing things up. The person writer was just trying to line up buzz words. I am trying to get my money back. Full loss of time. It is horrible content. I lost 250 USD

It’s a fake service. Unfortunately I didn’t check reviews before. Service was not provided as promised, and the CV was worse than the original version.

Horrible service. Templates are incredibly basic and unoriginal. A lot of the content provided by 'professional' was incorrect. It did not feel like we worked together to achieve a specific goal, my writer just did what she had to do. A lot of the feedback I gave was not implemented. Specific experiences that I value omitted, even after repeatedly asking to leave it on my CV, corrections regarding experience were not applied even though my writer said she would. Super expensive for the service that you get, not at all recommended

Terrible! That sums up the service. Resume was badly written, with grammatical and spelling errors! For example organization rather than organisation. When I asked another CV company to assess the CV written by TopCV, they gave it 45 out of 100!!! I am trying to get my money back! Paid £129 for the CV rewrite (can't use it) and £50 for the LinkedIn profile. Which incidently hasn't been done because its a copy of the resume! Don't waste your money. Use a professional company or person who advertises their services on LinkedIn or better use someone with genuine reviews! Something I heavily regret since I am havingvto fight to get a full refund of £179!

So I decided to give my CV a bit of uplift as it was not producing the results I was expecting (I did a revamp myself a few months ago). Since Top CV is associated with Reed.co.uk (one of the biggest job search sites in the UK), I was like let's do a free review at first. The review made by Top CV was good, so I decided to go ahead with the cheapest package just for CV revamp. Oh boy ... my writer is not listening to me at all, just explaining to me the strategies used, the CV looks really ugly, it is so crammed that my eyes have difficulty concentrating, and the language used makes no sense as sentences have loads of keywords (for keyword optimization) that are out of place, very hard to read, almost feels like an AI would have written it and not a real human. It was full of little mistakes like bad copy+paste job from an old CV, weird colors used, and bold letters instead of not bold in some places when the rest of the text is not bold .... Some experience added where I had nothing to do with that, I don't know where my writer got that info from, some experience added from when I studied in uni, but nowhere did it say in my old CV or my LinkedIn that I actually did that in my career... I could go on, but you get the gist, it is sloppy and rushed and no care in the world is given. I will see if I can get another writer or get a refund.

Cut and Paste Job. Total disappointment. Very clearly a ‘cut & paste’ job as somebody else’s job title and place of work appeared in my CV. Totally uninspiring and cluttered document. Apparently it is optimised for recruiting software yet since it went up I have not had one call. My ‘old fashioned’ CV used to attract regular calls. The writer agreed a refund then twist and turns from customer support and I’m apparently not entitled all of a sudden. Apparently I didn’t request edits but I told the writer as soon as I saw the document it was poor. Total waste of money, I wish I had read the reviews beore signing up. Email replies are from templates. You could do this yourself with a bit of reading around the subject I changed by CV back this morning and I had 4 calls within the hour. They are now refusing to answer emails. Totally unprofessional.

Generic, low quality CV which generated fewer responses than my original one. Customer service levels are some of the lowest that I have ever experienced. No accountability or ownership. No effort to help or improve on what was presented to me. Look elsewhere if you require an improved CV.

Their CV did not work for me at all. It has been almost three months now and I've been applying to numerous jobs online on various platforms but to no avail. I have applied to almost more than 300 openings locally as well as other international locations but forget even getting a call for an interview, I have been flooded by emails with replies saying that unfortunately they have not shortlisted me for the post advertised by them. Some of my friends who saw my CV said they wouldn't read my CV because it's too long, it is not formatted right, it doesn't look professional and it does not have an appealing layout. In addition, it does not even show jobs related to my profession in the job alerts. Most of the time it ends up showing jobs in marketing whereas I am working in a creative department. The CV of a colleague who designed the CV himself on his own having similar profile as mine easily fetched a job when he wanted to switch over. And last but not the least, they NEVER RESPOND IN TIME. I would recommend go ahead and design your CV yourself. Who knows yourself better than you? Instead of wasting your precious time and money running after an unprofessional bunch of people, go ahead and craft your own CV.

TopCV is a SCAM. Wish I had read these reviews before. I got deceived by trustpilot ones which must be fake. The person who wrote my CV just took a generic template from google and adapted with the sentences I have provided to him in the questionnaire (even if the sentences were just examples to be improved by the suppossed "premium writer"). I was expecting him to properly write them and to provide some sense out of it, not just to copy-paste all sentences one after another. I can do that myself. I paid 350 euros for a service that does not deliver anything closer to what it says it does. I'm speechless. Especially with the linkedin part. That was a total DISASTER. It was literally a copy paste from the CV!! Making no sense, looking so poor. The service is sold as "reqriting your profil" He did not even looked at my profile! He just took sentences from the CV and added some useless connectors in between. This is a joke. I demanded a reimbursement of at least that part which was 160€ because of course I can copy paste my CV without spending that much money. No answer from customer service. I have hired another company and they are surprised by the poor job done. I am quite speechless.

Not happy, indeed i did not respond because I was so mad 😠 , I feel i got scammed 100%. The cv returned is weak and amateurish not professional as promised for the $$$ it is poor English and syntax and it is not that great savy professional business accumen advertised. Read the first line first of the First Paragraph... makes no sense... I am told to take out previous job and only show current as it pertains to current jobs i seek... when in fact The previous job on my original cv provided, clearly showed, it was 90% same functions and experience as current job for 23 years and seeking now... i beleive that matters. I did not see any of the business fancy re-writing i was promised on your advertisements... No cuatomer servixe after the fact or response so far. Rating 🌟 in my book. Mario

Don’t trust these people and their shameful CV review service that is actually a template that is the same review for everyone. I’m offering a personalised CV review service that is anything but is just a scumbag move. It’s completely misleading and immoral and I would recommend to stay away from this company.

I would advise against paying or having the services of this company. I was expected to make changes to the first draft myself and the document they call the final document is not useable. The lengthy first paragraph could describe anyone and no employer would read it as it is so wordy. The spacing and bullet points are inconsistent. Not fit for purpose. No one is answering my complaint to request a refund either.

Complete waste of my money and time! To date, there has been zero collaboration with the writer that was allocated to me. I have had to fix numerous spelling mistakes and grammar errors on my cv under tracked changes on a word document. I have commented three different times on my cv with change requests I would like only to have the writer (Amy-Leigh) simply delete or accept the comment and not reply to my requests. The spacing is off - the cv doesn't flow properly. I have basically had to retype or reword 50% of my cv. I am really not happy with what has been produced or the pathetic feedback I have received from the writer I am working with that comes across as being inexperienced and clearly not understanding or for lack of a better word - couldn't be bothered with reading my feedback and doing the changes that I have asked for. At this point I would rather get my money back and do this myself as I am basically rewriting my own cv any way and spending a ridiculous amount of time in the evening doing so. It has certainly not been worth the amount that I have had to pay!!

There were numerous grammatical errors throughout the entire document. I also sent back numerous times for updates. The finished product was just not worth the money.

TopCV makes you believe the resume, cover letter and LinkedIn rewrite for €249 All 3 icons in the executive package but only a mediocre resume with a standard layout on sale for $25 3 days later does all 3 for € 262 but asks me for € 50 extra for this same work

How this company has any right to exist at all is beyond me. Standard resume template and with mediocre execution for $249. Do NOT deliver what the executive level package of promises shows with icons of both resume, cover letter and LinkedIn On questions and later complaining about this, you get a standard reply from customer service after 4 days where your blood pressure rises over so much inanity and lack of empathy from their customers. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS AND LOOK FURTHER.
