This company fails to provide (1) pending notification that your account will auto-renew providing an opportunity to cancel. I initially signed up for a 30 trial on April 15, 2025. I was charged $40 on May 15, 2025 as an auto renewal. I never used the service. The second auto renewal was charged on May 16, 2026 and I requested a cancellation on May 27, 2026. Their terms and conditions state that there is a 14 day window to cancel to receive a full refund. However, in practice, that 14 day window only applies to the initial auto renewal. After requesting a cancellation and refund with the specification that I've NEVER used their service, they could care less and refused to refund. Horrible business practice and a demonstrable unethical business model.

I do NOT recommend joining Travelzoo Club. The deals may look appealing, but the membership setup feels extremely shady. They charge a non-refundable membership fee, and even if you cancel the SAME DAY the membership renews, they still keep your money. Most companies will work with customers on accidental renewals or provide some kind of grace period. Travelzoo apparently does not. That policy alone tells me customer satisfaction is not the priority. Be very careful before entering your payment information and especially watch out for auto-renewal. In my opinion, a company confident in its service wouldn’t need to rely on trapping customers into non-refundable renewals. Save yourself the frustration and read the fine print BEFORE signing up.

I booked a 7 day Paris Rome trip. We are less than 39 days out for our trip and I have not received flight and hotel confirmation numbers on a trip that is paid for 8 people. The customer service is horrible.

I was charged for an automatic renewal by Travelzoo without any prior reminder. I did not knowingly approve the renewal when it was processed. As soon as I noticed the charge (2hours after the initial email), I contacted customer service, but they refused to issue a refund. Many companies provide advance notice before renewing memberships, giving customers the opportunity to cancel if they no longer see value in the service. Customers should be aware that Travelzoo may automatically renew your membership without a meaningful reminder and is not be flexible when it comes to refunds. I would strongly recommend monitoring your billing statements closely or reconsidering signing up if you want to avoid unexpected charges.

Totally unacceptable experience missold a holiday and travelzoo totally uninterested allowed extra money to be taken without consent. The companies who advertise with travelzoo are totally unregulated. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!

Worst experience with a travel company EVER! Booked a 7 day trip to Spain, 6 days before the trip I am looking at our flights and one flight had been cancelled and the other one changed so we could not make our overseas connection. We were never notified of these changes. Once I brought it to the attention of the "manager" at Jet Line Holidays (one of the terribly run companies that Travelzoo passes off their customers to), I was told that they could rebook the cancelled flight 2 days later, arriving on the 3rd day for a 7 day trip, or we could cancel the whole trip and get $180 refund for the flight that was cancelled. The other choice was I could purchase a ticket to Spain, 6 days before the flight. So $1500 later, with no reimbursement from Travelzoo I purchased a ticket. The other flight, was rebooked, but rebooked returning from Spain to Kennedy and then from Laguardia to Detroit. So, once again I had to do their job for them and let them know that this wouldn't work we needed to arrive and depart from the same airport. It was just an awful experience. Jet Line Holidays was so hard to deal with and you couldn't actually get anyone to help unless they were a "manager' and the "managers were never available. They said they would call back and never did. We would not have known about the flight issues at all if I hadn't looked ahead of time. I would never recommend Travelzoo to anyone!

Every time I get an e-mail from Travelzoo and click on an offer I find that the offer is not available.

I wish I can give zero stars as they only advertise deals with switch and bait vendors. I was hoping to book a deal being advertised for $399 for Colombia but when i tried to book it was showing the price of over $600.
