“Treads shoes was set up by a single parent who would, I imagine understand the financial difficulties faced by single parents and having to place orders at the last minute as they receive their income. Living on a shoestring (pardon the pun). If you order from any company online and pay special delivery for next day delivery, ordering on a Friday you would expect them to come on the Monday wouldn't you? Well yes, except they have to be ordered before 3pm on the Friday. I made the mistake of ordering them at 4.45 on the Friday. Consequently the shoes (2 pairs which cost almost £90) will not be arriving until Tuesday.. when both children will be back at school. Apparently this is not down to the company, this is down to the delivery companies Hermes and DX who don't class the weekends as working days.. so Hermes and DX don't deliver on Saturday and Sunday then... Really? So between the company and the parcel delivery they cant work out how to get one delivered faster than four days when you pay extra for next day delivery.. looks like they are going to end up in detention first day in senior school for wearing trainers. Thanks for the distress caused Treads.”
