“Purchased Troy Lee A2 helmet Dec 19 with advertised 3 year warranty.
13 months later helmet lining split.
Warranty denied as "it's normal, 1 year warranty only, buy a new liner for $60".
I mentioned the advertised 3 yr warranty.
Distribution 101 (the business that runs troyleedesigns.co.nz) then removed all mention of the 3 year warranty from their website then told me: "it's 1 year only, show us where you saw 3 year warranty and we'll honor it".
I sent a link to Google saved web page which still showed their 3 year warranty, they finally replied "normally we wouldn't replace liner but we'll make an exception in this case".
TL;DR Great product, but Distribution 101 will happily take advantage of their customers if they think they can get away with it.”
