"Okay so I finally gave in and tried one of those True Tone Swim tan-through swimsuits because\r\n\r\n 1) I\u2019m pale and tired of tan lines, and \r\n2) Instagram got me again.\r\n\r\nFirst impressions:\r\nThe material is super lightweight like, kind of thin at first but not see-through (thankfully). it dries FAST, which I loved. Definitely comfy to wear for hours.\r\n\r\nAs for the tan-through magic:\r\nIt actually DOES work, but don\u2019t expect miracles. You\u2019re not gonna come out of the water golden and glowing after one wear. I laid out for a few hours and did notice less of a tan line compared to my regular suit. It\u2019s more like a gradual \"evening out\" situation. You still need sunscreen btw, it doesn\u2019t block UV.\r\n\r\nFit:\r\nPretty standard sizing, but maybe size up if you're between sizes. It\u2019s stretchy but snug. The styles are cute and minimal, but maybe not the most supportive if you\u2019re looking for a lot of structure. Think more beach lounging than intense water sports.\r\n\r\nFinal verdict:\r\nIf you\u2019re trying to avoid harsh tan lines and like a more natural, subtle glow, this is actually a fun option. Just manage your expectations it\u2019s not magic (which I couldnt expect) , but it does help. Bonus: you don\u2019t feel soggy all day because it dries in like 10 mins.\r\n\r\nWould I buy again? Yeah! and I have already, especially for vacations or pool days where I\u2019m trying to be cute and low-effort bronzed."
