I went to pay R300 for my mother’s account and their sales lady Pamela put an extra zero in the machine making it R3000. I requested for a refund and their Supervisor Zayn refused and said any payments made towards the account cannot be refunded. Bloody thiefs!!

As of 2024, Truworths seems to have adopted a zero-refund or cancellation policy regarding their online orders. This can be seen on multiple review sites. It is best to avoid using Truworths at all costs. Somehow, they are being allowed to operate as a "legal scam company"

After reading a couple of revies, I see this is actually Truworths MO and not an isolated incident. THEY can change ONLINE ORDERS after it's been placed and cancelled items you have ordered, but as the customer YOU CANNOT CANCEL OR CHANGE YOUR ORDER, after it's been "processed" - basically just some or other BS they claim their barely legal T%C's allows them to do. If a customer no longer wants an order MINUTES after being told that an item they ordered isn't available, they MUST be allowed to cancel that order ONLINE (where it was placed). This is the shady "process" ScamWorths excepts clients to follow. Everything can be done ONLINE, all communication will be done ONLINE, but if you want a refund GOT IN STORE (and obviously forfeit the delivery fee)

Lost my online order and no one could be bothered to attend to my complaint. I had to make follow ups n go back to the store,still haven't received my refund until today. Bad service Truworths Northgate Mall 👎

When I asked for a refund they refused, with prior knowledge that I didn't have the original receipt in my possession.

Made a purchase with my Debit card and every time I try to do a return at Truworths Northgate or Randpark Ridge they say they do not have cash. I even phoned in advance and asked them to keep cash aside for me but no joy. Staff say they are unable to refund to my credit card. Will definitely never purchase from Truworths again and will never recommend them to anyone else.

I recieved a call informing me that one of the items I purchased was no longer available and recieved a refund ,the other item I ordered ,till this day,mind yoi its May now,I have not yet recieved my refund .

Purchased online on the 8 April , collected item instore only to find out that they cancelled the order, a refund was processed as per the store , its now been 10 days and still no refund has been credited, the staff is incompetent and the service is pathetic, I definitely will not purchase from Truworths again.

I went to Truworth Highveld mall on Sunday the 16th and when purchasing they swiped my card only for them to say they are offline and they said the money that went out on my account will reverse and it didn't and when I go to the bank the bank said Truworths has to refund me and I went there again they told me to send the bank statement and I did and still am not receiving my money and it's being 6 days now.
