Turo is a scam. You need to cancel within 24 hours of booking, no matter how far in the future the trip is, but the app frequently freezes and may not register your cancellation. If you don't realize it within the 24 hours, there is a 0% refund. I tried to get a refund after realizing, and was passed around for hours before eventually being hung up on by the supervisor. Don't use them for anything.

My Turo host cancelled my reservation the DAY BEFORE MY TRIP! I had made the reservation three months in advance, so of course, there was nothing available even close to the price I paid! Turo as the company offers you NOTHING except a refund which takes 7 days! I ended up paying more than DOUBLE the price for my one week rental because I had to do a last minute reservation at a regular car rental place! I will NEVER use Turo again!!!!
