“I wanted a tutor for me daughter. I searched and chose one who we thought matched our requirements. I booked a trial session and waited for confirmation. After several days, it still wasn't confirmed so I sent an email to the tutor. I ever received a response at all. Then I received an email from the company asking why things didn't work out and would I like to speak to them about it. They offered a £50 Amazon voucher if I would speak to them and discuss what had happened. I contacted them at the agreed time and they seemed so nice and apologised and offered a free lesson if required. However, I have never heard back from them and never received the voucher. In my personal opinion, this is a poorly run company and I would not trust them. Go by word of mouth and find a tutor you know, rather than use an online company.”

“I know that 'tutorhouse' help many students and teachers. Unfortunately, it didn't work in our case as we agreed and paid for the tutor 1 month in advance and tutor never appeared in the arranged time. As I understood, organisers didn't re-confirm with the tutor prior to the lesson, thus I wasn't informed neither by the tutor nor by the organisers. I tried to contact 'tutor house' the same day through e-mail, voicemail and web chat, but in vain. I understood that after 6 pm 'tutorhouse' was closed- old-fashioned approach in our technology era. Only next day at 10:10am my phone call was answered not by the voicemail, but a real person and although I left many messages day before they didn't even know about our case. My payment was transferred immediately though after they understood the problem.”
