Asked the customer service, simply said they knew it, but they could do nothing. almost impossible to leave them, the porting procedure would take forever. unable to contact their porting dept, once things go wrong in the porting, you have to change your number with the new carrier.”

But Sprint doesn't work in my area, and I only found this out by purchasing a phone and a plan and trying it out. Their staff admitted that they couldn't switch me to Verizon and would not give me a refund on the service unless I returned the phone too.
I'd already purchased accessories for the phone, and hate returning things anyway, and so lost out on the refund.”
