After 8 days of waiting for the Dell laptop battery I ordered without so much as an email from them, I contacted UKLC by chat to find out what was happening. They told me they didn't have the Dell but had a cheaper one they were sending. That was not acceptable and I asked for a refund. They agreed but said I would have to pay carriage on the item as it was already committed. I said it was their error and they should stand the cost. They said there was nothing that could be done, was there anything else they could help me with?
So in summary they took payment for an item they could not supply, and then retained £6 of my money to pay for the carriage of an inferior substitute I didn't want. If I had waited to recive the item I would have had to pay return carriage also.”
