I've written MANY times in the last 3 yrs.to used.ca about the stupid changes to the format, but NOBODY is listning, used.ca was much better 3 yrs. ago most of the changes make it so we have to see MORE GOOGLE adds and less usability, the latest change eliminated tha bottom of the page where we swiched from one city to another, in it's place is a BIG GOOGLE adds now how do we switch cities, there arn't even any instructions with the dumb chages...DON'T FIX WHAT AIN'T BROKE

I posted 2 adds and all I got back was junk, people trying to scam me. Even Used.ca sent me a warning about one of the users that contacted me saying that I should not respond, delete the email and block it. Multiple times I got requests to accept Paypal payments, cheques, etc. Right ... Shady reasons like I'm just moving and I will send the movers to pick it up without actually talking with me or agreeing on anything. Right ... DO NOT USE IT!

$ amounts don't consistently save on ads. I ended up having to give away something because the ad showed it was $0. I couldn't verify on the spot because the app doesn't show a complete list of my ads, but I saw that other ads of mine showed $0, so I believed the purchaser. I went back to the desktop version after I got home from the "sale" but I couldn't confirm; however, when I tried to edit another ad, the $ amount didn't show and when I went to re-edit the same ad, the $ amount had disappeared from the field where I had previously entered it. I'm going to delete all my ads now and try another site--I'm glad I didn't try to upgrade, as I would have paid for something that doesn't function properly.

Its both, a hit and a miss, when it comes to what's for sale, if its a person or a retailer pretending to be a person with something new to sell opposed to something used. Then there is always, " I was away on holidays" whenever you get a reply a few weeks later. Then there are those ads which go fishing for email addresses which provide the spam a few days after you reply. When it comes to selling, I have had fewer issues although there are plenty of LEGAL things being sold which they won't allow any listings for which brings things to the final hit and a miss scenario of which I'm writing.
