Incorrect diagnosis of problems and incomplete repairs did not listen to my diagnosis

Called as hose kept coming away from machine every time I used hose and hole in hose . Jake was leaving quickly and I said has new hose been put on ? He said no - he didn’t know was a hole ? Should of been a service as booked as service and hadn’t checked it . Then changed it quick . Then used dyson straight after he left and hose cane away and blue sticky pad fell out . So still have problem as before fix done and felt just had a new hose fitted , but nothing checked / serviced . I rang him after to tell him re: hose still falling out and he said to cut some sponge out of filter and wedge it in? Not happy at all , previous years service thorough and repaired if needed .

Problem One. Domestix charged me for a repair plan on a vacuum cleaner they have now told me cannot be repaired. I have paid nearly a hundred pounds for nothing. Problem Two. Domestix will not count the money already taken against the cost of a replacement, as is common with such plans. Problem Three. I waited in a whole day for the service engineer to arrive, he did not. He went to the wrong house. I got no phone call, and I ended up having to call the office to complain. Problem Four; at the repeat appointment, the engineer insisted on using a two hour parking permit, (mine,) before entering the house and having a five minute conversation. I would certainly not recommend this company to anyone. Avoid!

The operative took barely a minute looking at my Dyson before declaring it would need a new battery and filters at a cost of £130 or so. I could not countenance that so paid the £35 examination fee and he left, leaving a faint smell of weed behind him. On investigating further I’ve discovered that Dyson’s pulsate when blocked and the only thing wrong with it was a blockage. This is something I would expect your operative to have been able to ascertain given that I explained to him that the Dyson had little suction and was cutting out whilst I still had my finger on the trigger only to restart a few moments later.

Waste of money just try to sell you a 2nd hand Dyson. Without even looking at. Y vacuum they said it needed new motor...then a neighbour fixed it!!!

Very disappointed with the Domestix - reported a problem on 28th January but had to wait a week for an engineer to come out to look at my hoover. Was then given false information from him. After several phones calls & still no definite date as to when I might get my order - I cancelled it. I ordered a new Gtech hoover on 12th and it was delivered on 13th February - 100% better service so far than I had got from Domestix.

No Show, booked an appointment 2 weeks prior due to their availability. Phoned to confirm as had to take a day off. When I spoke to customer care they blamed a new computer system very disappointing and frustrating “wasted my day off just before Christmas” lack of empathy shown!!!

Really disappointing level of service offered. Totally dismissive and no ownership or appreciation for inconvenience caused. Booked an appointment over 2 weeks ago. Contacted them prior to appointment to confirm time and was advised that due to a computer error they could not attend. “What a waste of a day off” if this is the level of service offered I would definitely advise others to stay away.

Very disappointed with this company. I took out a care plan a few years ago and the company failed to schedule a service call in February 2019. I chased this up and was told that one would be arranged. By the end of November and finally arranged one. I asked what compensation I would receive and the lady I spoke to promised me she would look into it and ring me back. Needless to say she didn't so I rang this morning and she couldn't be bothered to discuss this with me initially, simply passing a message to the call handler telling me I didn't qualify because my plan was an insurance based one. After insisting I spoke with the supervisor, I got the same message directly from her. I then asked her who I should complain to and she said she dealt with the complaints, so its like turkeys voting for Xmas. I then asked if she could send me a copy of the company complaints procedure and after much silence she said the company didn't have one! Very disturbing. They never contact to confirm the annual renewal despite their terms and conditions ay they will. They have put up my premium by £1 per month without telling me, (A breach of the Direct Debit Guarantee) As the cost of a service is about £35 plus parts then I think the least they could do was to offer me a compensation payment for the 10 months that have elapsed since the service was due I write this to warn others that other may be aware

1st appointment engineer never arrived between 12-17pm. Phoned@1830pm to advise he had been held up in traffic. 2nd appointment 0830-1200 engineer arrived@ 1440pm no phone call advising delay. Very disappointed with your company.

Your very nice salesman/engineer, Jake, came around to repair our Dyson hoover. He said the motor had gone and we could get a reconditioned one for £150. I paid a £50 deposit. Three weeks later when I'd heard nothing further from him or Domestix. I phoned up to inquire about our purchase. It could not be traced by the young man on the phone. He said that your manager, Emily, would follow it up and phone me back the next day. She didn't. Some two months after our original order Emily phoned with a breezy message (no explanation or apology) that our Dyson is now ready for delivery. I phoned back and explained as we had been waiting approx, 2 months without a hoover we went out and bought a new one. I demanded our £50 deposit back. Emily said she would return it (it arrived back in our account the next day) but there was NO apology, explanation or attempt on Emily's part to do any sort of customer relations to maintain the goodwill of your company. Bizarrely, after all of this, the Dyson was still delivered the next day!!! So Emily had not even bothered to cancel the order with your own driver. We have received an appalling level of service from your company. Never again will we use Domestix. [You did ask!]

You knew call was for a broken handle and told me one had been ordered but the engineer turned up without one and said he had just come to take pictures! Now you say you have to order the part and I have to wait fat further appointment. Not good service.

PAID £35 TO BE TOLD DYSON NOT WORKING...DUH...I KNEW THAT..WANT MY MONEY BACK. GUY WAS MORE INTERESTED IN TRYING TO FOB ME OFF WITH 2ND HAND MACHINE. VERY UNIMPRESSED. GOING TO BARCLAYCARD AS THINK THIS SHOULD BE CLASSED AS FRAUD....

My hoover still sounds like a bag of spanners and the brush accessory still has fluff and hair in it. I thought being serviced meant that it would all come back clean and working.
