“If your realtor recommends Vannier Home Inspections, ask for someone else. Mr. Vannier did not do a thorough inspection of a property purchased by my husband and myself. I made a call to our Homeowner's warrantee policy to fix the washing machine that was included in the purchase of the home and was told by the repair man that the call would not be covered under our homeowner's warrantee policy because what was wrong with the machine was due to lack of maintenance by the previous owner...therefore I ended up paying $85.00 for the service call and nothing was repaired or replaced. The repair man that came to the house said that the problem should have been reported by the home inspection company and it was not. The report submitted to us was not complete in the inspection of the premises. My husband was very dissatisfied with the lack of detail in the report. If you're thinking of using Vannier, think again!”
