About Veals Fishing Tackle:

In 1846 Veals was established in Bristol. Over the years it became Bristol's premier fishing tackle retailer. In the 1960's a mail order service was introuced and this was developed to the extent it proved very difficult to combine the needs of a retail shop and the mail order business. So in 1992, Veals Mail Order was formed as a totally separate company, in new larger premises, to provide a dedicated mail order service.

“Used Veals mail order many times now. They are very helpful and a quick call into them for some advice when needed whether it be on choice of reel or lure, they will sort you out. Also prompt delivery and well packaged to prevent any damage in transit. Have returned items for a refund and never a problem. Thoroughly recommend them.”

“Courteous and fulsome replies to phone calls, stock promptly delivered; if out of stock customer notified and given the option of cancelling or continuing; if there are any problems they resolve quickly including accidentally ordering the wrong item, old fashioned service that UK industry at large has all but forgotten which means that Veals will be trading long after many have gone. Veals are my online sea fishing tackle trader by default only going elsewhere if they do not stock the item I want... highly recommended.”
