Purchased a tumble dryer on Black Friday. Arrow XL arrived a week later with paperwork but no appliance. Next deliVery booking was cancelled. After 30 days waiting cancelled. And let me start on the customer 'service' each call is 40-70 mins on the phone to a S African based call centre who don't understand the UK consumer rights. Dealing with Very was a one and done...I won't ever use them again.

Last time I ever shop with Very. I ordered a chandelier which arrived smashed. What an absolute nightmare to send it back because it’s a large item. I’ve tried six times to have the item collected through the returns system online but no-one has turned up for it (or has ever been sent out to attempt to pick it up according to the tracking) An absolute waste of my time sitting around each time. A complaint was made and another two times this has happened when the advisor has arranged deliVery themselves - onto the third attempt tomorrow. Because I didn’t answer the phone on one occasion the complaint was “resolved” so have had to go through the process again. 20 years a customer, I’ve spent thousands of pounds with them and sent hardy anything back and they can’t even give me a refund on a broken item that I’ve tried a RIDICULOUS amount of times to send back. Disgusting customer service.

They have the most useless customer care team. Obviously not based in the UK and they lie constantly. Like we will call you back, I’ve had that one 3 times! or leave it with me I will sort this out for you, Lie. or no you won’t be charged. Lie. All of this is a lie. They have cheated me out of money. I never received the order because of where the ignoramous deliVery driver from Evri left it in an open to the public place, AGAIN right by a public bike and walkway. I never received the item but The item is still on my account. I will be cancelling my DD Useless service and down right frustrating

Good luck if you need to return items! This has happened twice now. I will NEVER buy from them again. I'm so utterly weary of this company. I returned several items because of inconsistent sizing. I only kept one item. They didnt recredit an item I had returned in the same parcel with my other returns they recredited the item I kept instead. This created all sorts of confusion I can't be bothered to go into yet again. I called them several times and didn't get through. The one time I did I was waiting 15 minutes then heard someone breathing and got cut off. I wrote an actual paper letter to head office twice. There is no email address. They emailed me a response eventually which showed they completely misunderstood my letter. I was unable to reply to the email. I contacted them via eVery social media profile they have. This exposed me to scammers pretending to be them responding. I also tried their "contact us form" and online chat. No resolution. Eventually a genuine Very staff member responded and told me the changes would show on my next statement. I have waited until today to view my statement. It is still exactly the same. I have kept an item which should have cost me £3.99 deliVery plus £22 for the item, MINUS a 20% discount I was offered. But I'm having to pay £40 because of their repeared failure to understand the issue and by making it insanely difficult to contact them. If they reply here and say "we are Very sorry, please contact us" etc. It is all LIES. They do not understand issues and they do not care. When it happened previously and I actually got through on the phone the assistant could not understand. She just started going silent and ignoring me. I naturally became frustrated and she laughed at me. I will NEVER buy from this company again. I am going to report them to Watchdog.

Ride and unable to understand customer services. Order expenses iPhone, paid for tracking and special deliVery. Not delivered, no one informed us and now saying it could be by the end of the week ! Won't refund or speak to couriers to find out where or when it will be delivered. Tracking number doesn't work . Feel like we've been ripped off Avoid high value orders with this company

Ordered my Very first item from Very and what a nightmare , Very saying order as been delivered, it hadn't, and Yodel saying item returned to Very , unable to deliver , they said , even though I booked the deliVery to one of their drop-off points of which I received an email from Yodel confirming this , this happened twice , even Verys customer service couldn't understand it ,was told to cancel order then reorder , the item was about £30 more expensive than when I ordered it the first time , I cancelled the order and the account, the item was a shark fan , must say this is worst online shopping experience I've had

Ordered and paid for some Oakley Operatives INCLUDING next day deliVery. Ordered well in time for this. First and last time using Very as they still haven't arrived and it's 19:29 and tracking only shows them as being in the Midlands. I'm based in Dorset. Very dissapointing so won't be using them again!

I am extremely unhappy about the ‘new improved’ (NOT) account summary page. This is cumbersome and clunky. When clicking on the orders button, no longer can I see a clear list of orders and the prices for items I have paid. This is now an extensive complicated list which I have to scroll through unnecessary information to see what I have actually bought. Prices are no longer visible either which I find dishonest and misleading. So not only have the prices paid now disappeared from the deliVery notes ( this happened a few years ago as though to keep this info from a customer immediately seeing it….. I presume to deter from returning the item on impulse after seeing the cost), but now they have gone from the orders section of the account summary page. To view prices paid I have to now visit transaction page or statement. How is that easier for the customer? Whoever is responsible for these changes obviously does NOT use a Very account themselves. The information is now much more difficult to find and ‘obscured’ which I find dishonest!!! When big changes like this are made the customer should be involved…not just someone sitting in an office looking for something to ‘improve’ to justify their role!!!! Please can you revert to the original accounts summary page once again. It is causing anxiety in this household and I imagine many others.

Dreadful, after having 2 deliVery slots (1 week apart) having it not turn up BOTH times, 1st time they didn't know why we didn't get it, 2nd time they couldn't get it on the van. So 16days after actually buying the item, we cancelled the order & went to AO, brought more or less the same item & it was delivered the next day. Save your money & time go elsewhere, don't bother with Very.
