“Everyone needs to be extremely careful. Fortunately, after I was duped twice on this website, a close friend of mine who had already been scammed recommended me to TREBLESLTD/COM., a recovery company. I'm thrilled that the business assisted me in getting my money back. Sincerely, I should have removed this company's link from this website, but the scammer company protested. If you are a victim as well, you can assist yourself by sending an email to TREBLESLTD/COM. Warm regards.”

“I ordered a Bosch integrated dishwasher from VERY. The dishwasher came up with an error code as soon as it was fitted. I thought it may have been something I had done, so got a plumber out at a cost of £100 to check everything for me. He checked everything,and it was all ok, however the error code was still showing and my dishwasher not working, after I Had VERY take my old one away. After waiting 30 minutes to speak to someone at VERY customer services, I was told that they don to replace faulty items!!!! that I had to order another one in the meantime 'therefore paying for 2 dishwashers'. They would only collect my dishwasher for a refund. They would also pay no compensation for the plumbing call out, when ultimately it was a fault with the dishwasher. Their customer service is horredous.”

“Please avoid this company I ordered a product for Christmas Got confirmation They took the payment Phoned today to check status of delivery Was told it was now out of stock and it would take 10 days to receive my refund No email no call to say it was out of stock Appalling”

“Awful company, dreadful communication. Ordered Care Bears for my daughter for Christmas. Failed to inform me that they couldn't fulfil the order. While on the phone which took 30 minutes to answer after listening to how they could help if I was struggling to make payment, they told me they were out of stock despite the website stating they were in stock. Miraculously they changed to out of stock half way through the phone call. Issued me a refund before asking if I wanted to do so and told me I could re place the order. Everything is cheaper anywhere else will never use again, a company that hopes people will not be able to make the payments on their accounts so they can fleece them with late payment charges. Started sending me emails about taking a loan with them, no thanks I'd rather ask a loan shark. Bring back the high street. AVOID.”

“DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY, BELIEVE THE OTHER REVIEWS. Order from them all the time, first time ordering something of this value - almost £700 and surprise, surprise, I haven't received my order. Parcel was MEANT to be signed for, it has since been proved that it was simply left on my porch, unsigned for and now missing. Customer service is NO help and won't even acknowledge everything they did wrong that could of avoided this situation and is asking me to wait 5-6 weeks after saying three days, then extending to 3-4 weeks, and now 5-6. I did not believe a company this big could scam people, but it is starting to appear this way. DO NOT USE THIS SITE, ESPECIALLY FOR EXPENSIVE ITEMS! THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY BUT THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY.”

“my mother with an excellent credit rating opened a account with very on 28/11/24 , she doesn't need credit but i suggested it would benefit her as having finance would save an extra 20% on top of black friday offers .the total of her spend was getting on for £2000 which she can afford top pay immediately but having credit took 20% of that which is a massive saving , very came back with congratulations that the qualified for £3500 credit 0% interest for 6 months the order was placed and delivery was expected for all products 4/5th december . on Tuesday the 3rd of december late evening her account, orders ,and credit limit was delecined despite her excellent credit rating after a phone call to very they could not explain this and further more would not honour the the 20% even when she offered to pay in full now unfortunately my mum has missed out on black friday yes she would have had to pay in full and slightly more price with another company but she would have all her products now buying them now has had a massive price increase . APPSOLUTLEY AN APALLING COMPANY AND SERVICE DO NOT USE VERY!!!!!!!”

“Do not use this company they are professional scammers not professional suppliers!! I ordered a laptop got sent a pair of ear buds! Returned ear buds as wrong item delivered and still waiting for my refund!! Poor customer service and on top of Christmas as well!!! Black Friday deals are pointless as u won’t get ur order and be told to reorder which if like me u can’t do until the refund is processed then u won’t get ur money back in time to order on the Black Friday deals!”

“If I could score minus I would. After applying for and being accepted for a credit account the order was declined. After contacting them they have no explanation. I am still waiting on a refund of the amount I paid over 8 days later. I’ve been on hold for over two hours. Spoken to many different departments and every single person has no idea what’s going on. I would not recommend very to anyone who I know.”

“I would give no star if it was possible. Stay far away as possible . I returned coffee maker back in August !!!!!!! still no money, I am down €600 and a coffee maker . I phoned probably 10 times already and they just keep lying that refund has been processed. I would never ever shop here again they are scammers . They literally just robbed me and there is nothing I can do about beside phoning them .”

“i sent a parcel back over a month ago and you said would be took off bill ,i told you not to send another one did not want one. you said the money would be took off bill and put back to what owe , well its still on not paying for something have not got have still the recipt got sent back atthe corner shop .where you set for it to be picked up from .please get it from my bill once done hardly owe anything and once done closing my account when paid rest off from yous.”

“I’m still trying resolve had faulty fridge freezer from them 1699 pounds was on phone constantly with them for uplift and return this item was on but now pay later which ended on 25 dec 23 and was paid for . I have floating bal of buy now pay later so this bal didn’t include fridge freezer . They eventually credited my account to that value but when I wanted reorder fridge it was only in silver so called again held on phone hour told lady want cheque instead she said bal would go back up which I didn’t mind had cheq they picked up old fridge thought end of but oct put stop on my account which will now put my credit score down 🥲I am still worried and going to the consumers this week as demanded I paid the 1699 back which I have as they called me 3 times in one day also return is not showing on account for faulty goods”

“I bought a laptop from Very as they said it would be delivered the next day. After the order was placed the tracking seemed to show that this would not be the case. I called Very and was told that it will still be delivered and this can be up to 8pm. I said even though its not at my Sorting Office and they said yes. I informed Very that as delivery wasn't made on the arranged date that nobody would be in to collect the parcel. Very said that if it cant be signed for it would be returned. This was untrue as the laptop was dropped over my side gate. I again called Very and said that i would return the laptop unopened. They said just take it to the Post Office. I did this and the Lady in the Post Office said that she couldn't accept it without a barcode. I drove back and called very again who emailed be the barcode. The laptop was sent back the same day. I called Very to raise a compliant and close my credit account. They agreed to this and said they would send me £50 cheque for this issues. Then I received emails regarding my credit account. I again contacted Very and said I want this closing. Very said that would be done once the laptop had been returned. (Luckily I kept the proof of posting) Very then sent me a late payment letter. Even though I owed nothing. I called Very to raise this as a compliant and was informed that my balance was zero and the compliant will be looked into. Two weeks later I received an email from Jeff Tamblingson at Very. the content says that I had said the account was not affordable. This was not the case I raised a complaint and want it dealt with. This is the most frustrating company I've dealt with I've not purchased anything yet i owe them money and they have decimated by credit file.”
