“Being a pre-veterinary student, it was extremely difficult to grasp some of the mathematical concepts that are used in the clinic everyday. But Kristen really helped me to understand each of the calculations we reviewed and was insightful towards their practicality and usefulness in the field. I will definitely be using her services again in the future once I am accepted into veterinary school!”
“Kristin was amazing. Very helpful and great at breaking the problems down to simple form. She cares and designs a personalize session. Kristin takes the time in making sure you understand the problem, steps and answer before moving on. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”
“Kristen was so helpful in making things click for me. I didn’t think a tutoring session via text messaging would turn out well, but it exceeded my expectations. She was patient, clear and concise. I left the session with better tools to problem solve.”
“Kristin made sure to personally go through what I did and didn't know to help me with my VTNE. She also included this I would need to know for just working in practice. I will be booking another session before my exam”
“I am the first to admit math is not my strong suit in vet med, but since working with Kristin, she has given me so many tools and confidence to face math head on. She is so patient and kind and makes you feel comfortable even when you get something wrong or don’t understand a concept. I highly recommend anyone struggling with med math reach out to her for help! You will not regret it!”
“Totally recommend! I got a free 4 hour tutor with Kristin. She helped me step by step with each problem. She asked if I had any questions, and she explained everything so well. I have a better understanding of calculating CRIs and maintenance fluid rates. I had problems with units and canceling them out. She helped me understand that as well. Great tutor! She made me feel confident in taking the VTNE!”
“I couldn't recommend VetMedMath enough. One of the hardest part of being a vet tech for me was the math aspect. I never did well in math in school and the struggle continued into my professional career. But unlike school if you mess up math in a hospital, animals are the ones who suffer the consequences. All my struggles went away after following vetmedmath. Kristin did a great job tutoring, offering clear and concise instructions and I finally fell confident in my math!”
“Kristin has been the angel I’ve been needing during my studying for the VTNE. Her concepts and explanations are much easier to relate to and understand that just reading from text books. She is personable, rapidly responsive, and truly enjoys teaching others. I’m extremely blessed to have her as my guide and tutor. Will recommend to all of my fellow veterinary family members.”
“Kristin is such a good teacher! I highly recommend her! I literally had such a hard time with CRIs and other medical math. Kristin breaks down the problems and explains it in a format that I can understand. I’m feeling more confident in medical math each time she works with me!”
“The breakdown steps of the equations gives you such a better understanding of the solution. If you get confused on a step you can see where you went wrong, due to following the steps. I also feel like once you continuously work through equations the steps become less needed, because they are embedded in your head. Lol
These equations and formulas are super easy and can be simple when the correct method to solving them is applied. I’m good in math but these make me feel like a genius.”
