“Avoid View.com.au - A Complete Waste of Time!
As someone actively searching for property, I occasionally divert from reliable sites to View.com.au – a decision I consistently regret. Every time I find a promising listing, the agent informs me it sold years ago. I've even emailed View.com.au about this issue previously and received no response. Do not waste your valuable time here. It seems their "millions of listings" include decades-old sales. For accurate, up-to-date information, stick with Property.com.au and Domain. Steer clear of this time-wasting website.”
“When contacting a real estate agent about a property I found on view, he stated that the property was not on his books. Turns out the listing on view was 3 years out of date and there are many others that are out of date as well. I won't waste my time on view.com.au ever again.”
“I want my property removed from your website. My bank used your valuation and it had dropped over $200000 in a month. The holiday homes around here are worth more than my home I'm very upset about this No other valuation has dropped like this.”
“I would like to bring to your attention that I have recently visited your website and found 4 property that fits what I am looking for. However, upon inquiring about the property, I was informed that the information on your website is outdated, old and has not been updated for quite some time. It is important to ensure that all properties listed on your website are up-to-date in order to avoid any time wastage for potential buyers like myself. I have been informed that all the property in question was listed years ago.”
“Useless !!!!
I am an agent who has been inactive for almost 2 years, yet continue to receive enquiries via this portal for properties which have been sold , settled and removed from all sites -
These prospective buyers are being misled, and their enquiries are not being repsonded to .
Maybe view.com can post for me a contact within their organisation who can recitfy this and stop misleading the public and damaging our reputation.”
“Our agency has been trying to remove a sold listing for almost 2 years, yet it continues to feature . Unfortunately this damages our reputation as well as disillusioning buyers and wasting their time.”
“Just looked up my home. Information incorrect - says we have 319,500 sqm when in fact it is a 50 acre property, and has been listed on this site, and all the properties around us, as being worth half their value. Not helpful for buyers or sellers.”
“I would give this site 0 if I could ! Totally inaccurate information . Describing our home ( only 6 yrs old ) as a 2 bedroom ! It’s actually 4x3 . This resulted in the estimate to be between $1.8-2m .
A comparable home to ours sold for $2.3 in Dec . On that estimate and market growth in Perth ours should be $2.3-2.5 as they are similar homes !
I wrote to View who replied that the information comes from Corelogic ! AI I think ! Not very high on the I ! So now I have contacted Corelogic to see what they say !
Also the photo isn’t even our house ! But next doors !
In my opinion they are wasting their money on advertising until they post accurate information and dont get it from a third party ! Fake News !”
“Unfortunately, no one can trust these editors. They appropriate other people's articles and make use of "bad arts". It is not recommended to publish in any of these publishers' media: Australian Businesses, Daily Bulletin, Viw Magazine and Business Daily Media.”
“Checked my own property the details of the property were incorrect
There information is totally incorrect and misleading.
Valuation ridiculously outdated.”
“I found my home on View.com.au and all the details are wrong. I went into the original post when we bought our home. View says 1 bathroom,4 bedrooms, 2 car spaces. WRONG. Yes we have 4 bedrooms, but we have 3 car spaces, solar panels, swimming pool and 2 bathrooms!”
“NEVER BEEN ON THE MARKET- Our property is listed on veiw.com but i know for a fact the property has never been on the market. I have requested numous times for veiw.com to remove details as they are incorrect. They just refuse, they know the details are wrong and just will not remove details. Do not trust details of properties they have listed.”
