“Easy to follow. My only comment is that I think the time taken is slightly under-estimated. I'm a quick learner and have done Level 1 before. It took me 2 hours 59 minutes in total. Otherwise great course. And I passed!”

“I was an hour and a half waiting for it to upload/download. After closing down and going through Google Chrome it all worked perfectly and I was able to complete the course without any further problems. The content was concise and the practice tests useful. I would use Virtual College again”

“Lots of revision, Easy to read however one point stating psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis are 'skin infections' is wrong and I found myself quite offended as I suffer from psoriasis and it is a autoimmune non contagious skin condition not a skin infection. Please review that statement.”

“A volunteer colleague did this on my computer. I left her to do the course alone. She wasn't sure if she had passed at the end of all the units (I remember it was quite clear when I did the course a year ago) - and she launched into the 'test', which took a while longer! At the end of that it was clear she had passed both!! Maybe a little clarity about that might help - she is 79 and very brave to do it - but in voluntary work this age group is so valuable, so it isn't always IT experts who have to navigate the course. Thanks for reading this.”

“I thought some of the questions in the exam were ambiguous. Most I had right but caught on three. I'm not sure trick questions are as helpful as real questions. Maybe you should take a look?”

“It was a little repetitive & difficult to understand where depth of knowledge was required rather than just an appreciation. I also thought the multiple choice test was misleading in some questions.”

“I was a bit wary of taking the course as I last did it in 1999. But I managed it okay and scored 96% so very pleased with myself. I am in my seventies so I am certain that anyone can do this course and pass. Each module was easy to follow and the screens were simple to negotiate, even for me. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a food hygiene certificate.”
