“Very disappointed with the result. I booked my scan having had lower abdomen and lower back pain. I also began to urinate blood. The results did pick up a lesion on my prostate and some other things of less importance. My kidneys were described as ‘essentially normal’. Two weeks later I was diagnosed with cancer in my Kidney (TCC). Why this was not picked up in my scan I have no idea but I do resent paying £1500 for them to miss this life threatening cancer.”
“Breached the Equality Act 2010 by treating me unfavourably because of my disability. Justified their discrimination by saying they are a private company. They are unaware that all companies have a statutory obligation to adhere to the Equality Act, no exceptions. Asked repeatedly for the legal basis they think justifies their conduct but they were unable to provide one. They appear not to understand the difference between corporate policy and law. Communication was painful, chased and called for over a month, was left waiting over 10 days for a response at times. Very frustrating when you are have a life threatening medical condition. In the past I found the quality of their rad reports very poor, they failed to answer all my GPs questions about my tumour, which rendered the scan almost worthless. This company would do well by organising Equality And Diversity training for all staff, with a focus on the Equality Act 2010. Have now found a new service provider that does not discriminate.”
