Last 4 home deliveries products contained numerous items with 2&1 day use by dates !!!!
This last one had 13 of the 24 items with 3,2&1 days use by dates - each time it’s just a refund for those items and no consideration for the inconvenience of having to have someone go out to buy those products again for me(am recuperating at home after big op) John Lewis/Waitrose your customer service is appalling !!

They didn’t deliver my online delivery. I was at home all day waiting. Rather than reschedule they cancelled my order and I will not receive a refund before Xmas. This leaves us with no food this week or over the Xmas period. I have no money left in my account to order food elsewhere and I have children. Absolutely devastated

The conversation went back and forth, I insisted that I need some form of proof/email/refund receipt and she called a Manager to sort this out.

I then ring up to complain and I am told that whilst things are in date they remain on the self for pickers to pick until the end of that day and whilst Waitrose like to give several days on fresh meat and fish the pickers can’t look at every date but she would refund them for me.
