One to avoid. I had to return an item, the company refused to send a returns label instead opting to send out an aggressive email containing a long list of conditions for the return. After 5 days of them receiving the package (I paid to track it) I got in touch. They sent me an equally aggressive email advising they had received the package but needed 14 working days to review it and action it! It’s been 3 weeks and they still owe me £70. Please done use this company.

Thank you for your review of our service, whilst we try our hardest to do the best we can, unfortunately we can't always please everybody all the time. After you received your order you sent us an email at 19:51 on Thursday 19th to ask for a returns label. Whilst we provide free delivery we are unable to meet the cost of free returns, so we sent you our standard returns email at 10:25 on the Friday morning, essentially repeating the information sent with your order, by no means can this be described as aggressive, the email begins with the paragraph... "Hi There - Thank you for getting in touch and thank you again for your order. Please read the further details/guidance below and also refer to the returns info paperwork enclosed with your order but if you would like any advice or help please do not hesitate to ask." We received your return on the 23rd. of April, and, in accordance with our returns information, completed the returns process at our end within the '10-14 Days' we state on our website, admittedly on this occasion this was stretched to the limit due to unforseen circumstances. The time it takes for credit card companies to return the funds to your account is outside of our hands but we have been told to quote the 'worst case scenario' of 10 days, though it can be a lot less with some card companies. For clarity, you say in your review that it's been 3 weeks since we received your return, it is actually 2 weeks today, 23rd April to 7th May. Mike George, Managing Director.

The package didn’t arrive within 24hr ( as paid for) due to inadequate packaging resulting in the contents coming out and royal mail having to repackage it. One mask and snorkel was in a rigid plastic package which had ripped the polythene bag . Maybe best not to use recycled packaging ? Or something More robust.

Hi Hazel, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback, obviousley we would have preferred an email to a one star review of our service. However we are sorry to hear that your parcel was delayed as the package had been torn open in transit, this is an extremely rare thing, we are only aware of three occasions over more than 20 years of sending out parcels. In an effort to reduce our environmental footprint, we will continue to use recycled packaging wherever possible and encourage our suppliers to use more environmentally friendly packaging for the products we sell. The snorkelling set which may have caused the package to fail is the only one we now sell that comes in 'plastic blister packaging' and whilst it is a good seller, we have informed the manufacturer that we will not be stocking it next year unless the packaging is changed. In the meantime we will ensure that some cardboard from the boxes we receive our deliveries in, is recycled to wrap around the offending blister pack. Mike George, Managing Director

I`ve already done this. I`m not happy as I`ve picked the wrong size and can`t exchange it as it`s second-hand goods now. Rubbish waste of money.

Hi James, thank you for your feedback. We have no problem exchanging items where the wrong size has been purchased. In this case, from what you told my colleague on the phone the fins were too small. It seems you ordered the incorrect size of fins, size S-M for foot size 3-5 UK and as you're a size 9, needed size M-L for foot size 6-9 UK. Unfortunately you then used the fins for swimming, resulting in them no longer being 'as new' which is why we can't accept them for exchange. Mike George, Managing Director

We still haven’t received what was meant to be a Christmas present. It is now 27th December. We leave for our holiday on 29th December and the snorkel sets were gifts from our children for this trip. We and they are extremely disappointed and if they don’t arrive for the trip we’ll be sending them back. We paid an extra £7.50 to get them despatched early what a rip off! We had gifts arrive on time for Christmas that were only ordered on 22nd December that arrived on time, delivered by Evri and Amazon. Perhaps you need to use a more reliable delivery company!

11 days would be Sunday coming. Ordered on the 7th. Despatched on the 7th. Delivered on the 16th. Unfortunately due to Royal Mail Strikes it actually took 7 working days, 3 of which they were on strike. Whilst we are disappointed, like most small businesses, there’s nothing we can do. Hi Carol, thank you for your review, we value all feedback and will always follow it up in an effort to improve our service. After receiving your email and vociferous complaint we immediately checked your original order and the function of our website. When you placed your order your basket clearly showed a wetsuit size MS though you had intended to order a size XL. We try hard to help reduce the chance of errors, which are an inconvenience to customers and and extra cost to us. Before payment we require customers to check their order where the item purchased is listed together with shipping charge if applicable. On completion of an order a confirmation page shows the completed order in detail, then an email detailing the order is sent. At any of these stages it is possible to either change / correct your order or request us to do so before shipping. Whilst we are not perfect and website errors do occur, on this occasion the website check confirmed that it is functioning correctly, we have tried multiple times to replicate the 'error' on a PC, iPad and Smart Phone but have been unable to do so, if you select size XL it will be an XL in your basket. This was the purchase of a replacement battery kit for a Cressi computer. Mr King accused us of "misrepresenting" a product on our website claiming it was not a genuine Cressi spare part, and as such was unsuitable. We proved with verification from Cressi that the part was genuine. We only sell genuine manufacturers' parts and have been a Cressi retailer for over 30 years.

Nightmare I have to pay for postage to return! Absolutely no labels provided or anything. Instructions not that clear on returns won’t be buying from here again.

We try to be as friendly and helpful as possible, for most of our customers, as can be seen from our reviews, we achieve that. Free delivery is an option on most orders and full details of our returns policy is on our website, we also send out a leaflet with every order, together with your receipt, explaining how to return an item. Unfortunately like most small retailers selling branded products we are unable to cover the cost of 'free' returns. I am sorry you consider this to be a 'nightmare' situation. It was a small item, the postman left it with a neighbour rather than take it back to the depot, obviously trying to be helpful. I would normally expect them to leave a card, unfortunately they didn't on this occasion. Mike George, Managing Director

You asked to return the gloves you had worn because your hands were still cold after use during open water swimming. The same gloves have received good reviews from other users and on social media. Hi Hetty, sorry to hear that you haven't received your parcel yet, you ordered it on the evening of Saturday 12th, we despatched it on the following Monday, 14th. Unfortunately it would seem to be still in the Royal Mail system, caught up in the backlog the Royal Mail is reporting due to both the volume of parcels and the effects of staff shortages caused by Covid. Unfortunately, once it's been despatched there is nothing we can do to influence delivery, hopefully you will receive it soon. Mike George, Managing Director.

A little disappointed with this comment, we don't currently offer "Next Day Delivery", what we offer is Priority Despatch. We send the orders out on a next day service, which costs more than we charge incidentally, and we say that delivery is normally next day. We try to make everything we say as accurate and honest as possible, and as most reviews testify, we do a pretty good job though we are always trying to improve. Covid is not an excuse we use, in this case we believe it was simply the volume of parcels in the carriers system that caused 2 of our parcels to be delayed by 24 hours on this occasion.

It would seem that by giving a 1 star review you have given an opinion. We despatched your order by Royal Mail standard international post, on Monday the 4th. In normal times I would have expected you to have received your order by now, however orders to Ireland seem to be taking an extra few days at the present, You should receive it soon, we will keep a watch on it from our end.

Thank you for the one star review. You placed your order on the evening of the 29th March, we despatched it the following day, the 30th, by 2nd Class Post and emailed you to advise you that it had been despatched. Basically we did everything we could in the shortest time possible, unfortunately it would appear to have been held up in the post, i'm sure the postal service is doing everything it can during this difficult time and you will receive you order shortly, if it has not already arrived by now.

Hi Warren. Thanks for taking the time to review our service but I am a little confused. We despatched your order on the 13th June, Royal Mail Tracking says it was delivered on the 15th. Your review says the parcel never arrived. You have then left 2 product reviews, one giving one item a 4 star review, one for the other item you ordered (shipped in the same parcel) saying your delivery never arrived. I have tried phoning you without success, can you confirm what you have actually received please, we can then sort this out. Mike George, Managing Director
