“I have been looking for a new starter motor for my little Yanmar YM2010D tractor for a couple of years now with absolutely now luck until I found David at West Lancs Auto Electrics. Spoke to hime Friday lunchtime, removed the old starter and sent photos to David Friday evening, had an email back very early Saturday Morning, spoke to him again around 9am where he assured me that although he didn't have the same starter he stocked a suitable replacement that wouldn't look the same but would wrok. I ordered it, it was collected by the courier on Monday, delivered to me on Tuesday and fitted Wednesday. The only minor issue was the position of the solenoid, I had the option of putting it at the top but further in to the block or at the bottom sticking out. I opted for the top position and changed the control cable screw for a small bolt as a screwdriver wouldn't fit. Worked pefectly first time, started really easily despite having stood still for 6 months over the winter. Very happy now. Thanks David.”
