“Had Christmas Dinner at their Beefeater Hamilton it cost me over £300 for 5 of us. I can honestly say the worst food I have ever had, the bread was unbeatable even after soaking it in the soup it was solid, the seafood starter was pitiful 5 prawns a slither of salmon, the main meal was unbeatable vegetables were cold, potatoes were hard and cold. When it came to desert the apple pie was lovely, we had ordered 3 millionaire portfolios but the lady serving us was arguing with me that I had put 3 after 8 icecreams I knew I hadn't as I hate mint, luckily we had a copy of the pre order form on our phone and on that phone we had marked portfolios so after showing the lady that she went checked with the kitchen and said they could give us what we had ordered but the thing they brought out was a disgrace I wouldn't even give it to a dog it was made up cheap and nasty! I contacted whitbread plc about our meal. Almost a month later I get an email from the company asking if I didn't have my receipt I would need all sorts of information to prove my experience but luckily I kept my receipt ,after all the apologies they offered me a £20 voucher to use at any of their restaurants within the next 3 months, seriously that is your idea of keeping your ex customers happy, you know what you can do with your voucher I will be reporting this awful Christmas day to anyone that will listen as this is NOT good customer service”
