““tell us how wilberforce college, kingston upon hull made you happy?” it didn’t in the slightest. the teachers don’t care about anything other than attendance and grades. i had two psychology teachers who were just so unlikeable it was awful. they barely helped at all and i never enjoyed the lessons. i knew people were kicked out for missing lessons due to serious medical reasons even after being told about it. i personally got threatened by another student quite close to the building and the receptionist was incredibly judgy about the whole situation. after telling staff i was told he was already a bit of a problem and that they would deal with it but the student kept tormenting me for about another week and it made me want to stop turning up. the head of the school was also quite friendly with a group of girls who were practically bullying us every other day in the canteen. they made our friend cry and when we told staff, he came over to them, had a little chat with them, laughed about something and basically just said “try not to do it again” and walked off. it may seem successful on the outside but that’s only because they’ll kick you out if you think you’re a threat to their reputation”
