“I was here last week. Waited 20 mins for a pot of tea. Splitting the food and drinks order is ridiculous. The old way worked better. The ticket system sends the drinks to the wrong table. The staff are hapless,not engaged - all youngsters with an opaque attitude. One guy actually snapped at me when I asked where my tea was? Where are the old staff? Have they been sacked? Bringing in new IT systems and a new broom has not worked.”
“Disappointing, the long awaited refurb. Seems less choice in shop Cafe prices extortionate £4.95 for a slice of cake, up to £11.00 for a beef sandwich (no accompaniments), long wait for take away coffee. They should visit Chatsworth Farm Shop and other great ones to learn how to provide quality to match price and a bit of class!”
“I visited the cafe on 22/10/24 and though having visited on numerous occasions for a breakfast in the past or sometimes for lunch, there did not appear to be such a big menu. The only lunchtime options show up on the board was soup and chips and having opted for a sausage sandwich, I felt this wasn't anywhere near as nice as a the baps they previously used to offer. I hope this is a blip and the menu choice will increase. The service was also a little bit slower and though we were asked what table number we were, when we went back to the table to wait for our order, another member of the public had sat there. So one of us had to go back and give them a different table number.”
“We have been coming to the Windsor farm shop for years , the products are amazing and I highly recommend a visit . They have recently refurbished and have done an incredible job , staff and the farm shop manager are lovely and friendly.”
“I ordered a cheese and pickle sandwich yesterday 28th January 2024.The bread was dry/stale and there appeared to be no butter on it.
I realise I should have given it back rather than eating it but mentioned it to two members of staff afterwards who appeared indifferent. Appears the restaurant is not interested in good customer relations.”

It was 13£ you could have gotten better in a greasy spoon cafe, bacon balms over 6£ , they need to change menu and review the food costs for what they charge as its not really good value , it use to be a nice place to go to but would not go back as much better places and think it reflects bad on the royal estate”
“I was flabbergasted when I was charged 40p for hot water when I visited. I had never repeat never been charged this before and when I queried it was told it was in case I had brought my own t bag !! I said that after all this time as a regular customer I would not be using this establishment again and the manageress said.....OK. WOW.”
“Second trip in 2 weeks from Brighton, just had to return for a beautiful rose I saw on our last trip. Also had lunch in the cafe which was superb.Staff very helpful and accommodating, meat from the butcher is excellent, the shop has a good selection of gifts and produce. Well worth going back so soon.”
“Worst burgers from butchery I have ever had the misfortune to eat, well I say eat, I bought four and ate one third, the rest went in the bin.
These burgers turned out to be from somewhere in Surrey with a load of unwanted additives therein, truly horrible.
Veg was nice but EVERYTHING here is expensive compared to most butchers grocers etc.
I won’t be going here again.

June never fails to smile 😀 My only disappointment I ordered lamb up to £30 for Easter they did not have my order I finished up with a £20 far too small .. however meat was amazing 1 piece 😂 you forgiven 😂🤣xx”
“Only visit on occasions now as not in the area the meat however is brilliant and so much better tvan supermarkets. Also love the bones for the dog. Would always recommend them”
“We've been visiting the Windsor Farm shop for several years. For the first time ever we encountered a rude member of staff on the check out. Think he must have been having a bad day! The woman as we went in was pretty abrupt as well but not rude. A shame as we've always enjoyed our visits to the farm shop.”
