“Wine ordered from New Zealand on 5 December for delivery to family in UK. VISA card debited. Goods not delivered. Failure by Wine Direct to respond to multiple emails or phone calls.
I suggest those who have had credit/debit cards debited should let the issuer of their cards know to encourage them to withdraw their services.

“Do not use this company - They are rogue traders. I ordered a case of wine from the USA for my family in the UK at Christmas. Order placed on Dec 4th . Wine Direct have taken full payment but it has not been shipped. I have called multiple times over several days and phone goes to voicemail. I have sent mails which remain unanswered. I have now reported this to my Credit Card company as a case of Fraud and join the list of others writing reviews to warn people away from this company. They give on line merchants a bad name and should forced to take down their website, put immediately into liquidation and investigated by the police for de-frauding consumers with intent and face the consequences accordingly.

“Terrible company with no respect for its customers... I ordered 3 bottles of wine for a special occasion on 4th April... nothing arrived by the end of the week so I emailed them on 8th April asking for an update. No reply... so I emailed them again on 30th April... again no reply. I have now had no option but to file a credit card claim against them to get my money back. DO NOT ORDER WINE FROM THEM, as they will take your money, ignore you and then force you to jump through hoops to get a refund from your payment provider!!”
“This shower are blatant thieves plain and simple. I ordered on 21st November 2018, money taken same day, and I still haven’t received my order. My emails are ignored, Messages on their online contact form asking for updates also go ignored. If you call you only ever get an answer machine, I leave messages but never get a reply.
PLEASE if anyone has similar experiences PLEASE report to Citizens Advice, they will pass claims to Trading Standards, surely if enough claims these thieves will be investigated and shut down. This company is part of the Fermentation group who own justincases.co.uk so AVOID that company too!”
